Mountainaire Inn and Log Cabins0

This was a great place to stop for an overnight stay in Blowing Rock. We were driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and this proved to be a great choice as Blowing Rock is such a charming town, and this Inn is perfectly located within it. Parking was directly outside our room. Breakfast is not supplied, but that is not a problem, as breakfast choices were available in town just a few steps away. The room itself has character and, whilst not being new, was perfectly comfortable for one night. We liked staying here as it gave us a good feeling of an American roadside lodge.

We stayed in one of the little cabins on the property and I loved it. Cabin was cute and very clean. It had cute front and back porch. We LOVED having an indoor fireplace, it was great to cozy around it with wine. Bathroom and kitchen were well stocked and clean. We enjoyed getting coffee in reception 24 hour coffee room. Walkable to everything downtown. I stay in Blowing Rock about once a month, this was my first stay at Mountainaire and I would definitely stay again.

upper beds were listed as queen but they look like fulls.. but no big deal. They were comfortable and the pillows were fluffy and full.

We have never stayed close to downtown Blowing Rock. It was great! Our room was soooooo clean and beds very comfortable. We had a short stay but it was very nice. The young lady, at the front desk, was just wonderful! :)

We were the first room nearest the road so there was a little traffic noise but once you were ready for bed (past 10pm), the noise was not a bother at all.

We really liked Mountainaire Inn. Fantastic location, walking distance to downtown. They have very friendly staff and easy access and parking.

We rented one of the individual rooms instead of a cabin. The room was very clean and comfortable but it was also a bit dated and smelled a little musky as you would expect in an older property.

The rooms were cozy and warm and had everything needed; I especially liked the free keurig coffee 24/7, as well as tea, hot chocolate and the fire pit; the cookies were an extra special treat! the beds were very comfy!

Quaint hotel within walking distance of downtown Blowing Rock. They have coffee and tea in the receiving area and they light a fire outside every night.

The rooms are very small and so is the parking area. Also, they moved the reception area to their sister hotel next door, which is slightly confusing.

We loved this quaint inn which is in a great location, with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

No in-room tea/coffee making facilities but there is a common room where they are available.

The rooms were nice and the location to downtown was fantastic. The room was as clean and had a mountain cabin feel to it. The outdoor fireplace was nice to hang around on the cool evenings.

There was nothing significant that I didn’t like about the property.

Loved the location and loved the cleanliness of the room. Staff took pride in their facility.

Only issue was the bathroom being very small but for the age of the place - it was well kept.

location was excellent, they were accommodating on every level. service was excellent

there weren't any negatives, property was managed 24/7. Desk agents were hard working and able to be contacted, which was a necessity, because of the weather.
