Blowing Rock Inn

Great attention to cleanliness and a funky mix of modern, cuteness, practical, with a touch of repurposed. I would stay there again.

Be aware that the management has 5 properties, and if they call you it may show up as something other than Blowing Rock Inn. We arrived after the office closed so they called to tell us where to find the key. My copilot got sidetracked by the incoming call location and navigated us to the wrong property. There is an emergency number available, so we were directed to the correct location. Not really a negative, just be aware.

Location is perfect, mountains very closed and the small town too very nice place.

The shower drain was clogged and i had to take a lot of the hair that was inside of the drain, I think maintenance should check on those things, also they should have better shampoo and soap, they need to check on sheets I think they can be a little bit newer, everything else was great.

The location of the Blowing Rock Inn was perfect as I wanted to walk to the shops, restaurants, coffee stands, and other attractions in the town square. I had booked the room on a recommendation from a family member who had stayed here a couple of years ago and loved the property. Definitely a place to come back to! Check in was easy and the room was ready right away. At checkout, Ruth was super nice and accommodating. I asked her about restaurants and places to definitely not miss during my stay. She had a good list of places and shared her favorites. would recommend this lovely place to anyone visiting Blowing Rock!

Everything was perfect for a short stay. From a well decorated and clean room with a nice sized bathroom to a refrigerator and microwave in the room along with a Keurig provided with assorted coffees. There was nothing at all to not like!

Nicely remodeled older motel. Comfortable bed & pillows. Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location for walking to all around downtown Blowing Rock. Suggestion info for surrounding food, drinks, shopping, and activities very helpful. Gazebo w/ rockers and firepit w/ Adirondack chairs. A/C good for hot summer temps. Bathtub was so welcome after all day driving & hiking!

It was amazing!!! Very scenic views with a nice, cozy atmosphere. Main street was in walking distance with many shops and eateries close by. Very enjoyable location!!!

GPS took us off the main highway onto the smaller access roads. That was kind of scary lol. Had nothing to do with the lodge itself but that's the only thing I didn't like. The place is wonderful. We will definitely be back!!!

Location was great with plenty of parking. Although I didn't meet staff in-person, they were very friendly and accommodating when I spoke to them over the phone. The room was just what I needed for a 1 night stay. Very convenient to have the Keurig for morning coffee plus loved the sitting area outside of the room.

The A/C was pretty loud, but that is common in many other hotels.

We love staying here. It’s a close walking distance to everything, the bed was comfortable, great water pressure in the shower, and the room was very well cleaned. The cleaning staff does a great job. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful too. We enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard area in the evenings.

The location is great, a short walk to food and shopping. We've stayed here 3 times and have enjoyed it every time. We always stay in the apartments behind the actual hotel . Always peaceful and quiet. Highly recommended.

The first time we stayed there was alot of people there and the hot water went out while I was taking a shower. And there was a problem with the gas heater. Our room was miserably hot and I spoke with the man in the one beside us and he said they froze that night. But it's been resolved that was the only time we've had issues.

Location is fantastic! we stayed in a villa and it was great for the two of us and our 3 year old. Very comfortable, clean and staff was very friendly and accommodating.

if I had to be nitpicky the ONLY minus would be that it was impossible not to drag in dirt (hard surface floors). But not a big deal. I would’ve swept it if there’d have been a broom/dust pan.

We usually stay at one of the Village Inn properties around town, and would rank this one a little higher than most. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and in great condition (up-to-date, in good repair). Staff called us the day before to verify details, but also offered parking prior to check-in time and advised us when our room was ready.
