Very comfortable lodge with excellent facilities. Fabulous view from back deck.

We were busy with activities like hiking and biking. We were unable to enjoy the breakfast as it had a "hard" time of 8:30. We needed to be up and out before that timeframe. I know it's hard to accommodate such a variety of guests, but it would have been nice to have had some flexibility with the breakfast. This was a minor thing. Everything else was perfect.

The view from the terrace was stunning and the room very comfortable. John and Marsha were friendly hosts and happy to provide information about the area. Complimentary drinks and snacks were welcome.

It was the most expensive bed and breakfast that we stayed in on our road trip and we didn’t feel that it provided the same quality of breakfast and home made extras that other bed and breakfasts did.

My husband and I absolutely love coming here. John and Marsha are wonderful hosts, and they go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home. This is definitely a place you have to visit for yourself to get the full experience. You won't be disappointed with views or hospitality. We are already planning to go back for another stay.

The location is peaceful and the views outstanding. The Inn is pristine in cleanliness. The food is healthy yet will satisfy the most carnivorous among us. Our hosts were knowledgeable and helpful! I can't give this Inn enough stars

Well, it has taken me a while but IF there is anything to improve upon, it would be sound-proofing. You can hear people walking above you, but it is not a big deal...it's all I could come up with

The place was beautiful and peaceful, and the staff was great. They will provide snacks, drinks and entertainment for you, plus you get a nice mountain view. You will sleep like a lazy bear in hibernation

We loved the cleanliness, the staff & the beautiful setup. Pretty much everything!! John and Marsha are both so very sweet. You made our stay there very comfortable and pleasant. Couldn’t have asked for a better location for peace, quiet and tranquility.

There isn’t anything that Kacey and I did not like. We have no complaints. It was our first bnb and it was wonderful!

Lovely little inn with a wonderful view of the mountains. Very comfortable rooms and dining areas. Very well kept and the innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely make plans to stay again!

The breakfast was great...Marsha is a no-fail cook! Everything was very enjoyable including the Bundt cake or cookies set out in the afternoons. She and John are generous and very accommodating. We asked for a little card table to set a jigsaw puzzle on in our room. Voila! The location is and their view is outstanding...looking southwest into a valley. The deck overlooking same is spacious; plenty of chairs to relax in...our room, Black Bear, had its own semi-private section and gliders. Delightful! Our king size bed was really comfy and we slept well. The grounds are beautiful. Surprising & sweet additions of statues and the like pepper the place. Easy & safe parking the car on site. The offer of games, DVDs and such made a longer stay sound enticing, too.

As we were staying while the temperature dropped considerably, our en-suite bathroom kept a touch on the cool side if the door was closed from our bedroom. The window facing NE had no curtain...no problem for privacy; the place is on the side of a mountain. Just that the window stole the heat from the bathroom if closed. Perhaps a small-room-heater on a timer would solve that.

We had an outstanding stay at the lodge. The room was clean, comfortable and the view was to die for. The breakfast was awesome and was a great start to the day. The owners were very attentive and knowledgeable. The recommendation to go to a restaurant called Over Yonder was on the mark; the food was outstanding. We will be coming back and would highly recommend the Lazy Bear Lodge B&B to family and friends.

The property is on an exceptional location with an amazing view but still not top distant from restaurants or hiking trails! The hosts were really friendly and helpful and the beds were amazing.
