Best Western Plus Cary - NC State

The rooms were clean, quiet and a nice view of courtyard. The breakfast was like a restraint, they had fresh eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, yogurt, waffles. Everything you could ask and it was amazing!!

Very good room for the price, compared to others in this area. We stayed here twice in two weeks. One king room and one double bed room. Both were great. Very clean. Updated and nice furnishings. Two chairs, an ottoman, a reasonable sized desk. One room had a larger than typical fridge with an enclosed freezer, other room had a typically small fridge with an open freezer section inside the top of the fridge. The double bed room had a small sink and cabinet in addition to the sink in the bathroom. Beds were average comfort. Workout room was adequate. A/C worked great. Breakfast had a better than average variety.

Magnetic key card lock was finicky; sometimes worked first try, sometimes it took many, many attempts. Workout room was hot, even at 7:00 am. Would have appreciated a fan. The first time we stayed, we had 2 separate rooms (for other family members) and we had to try 3 rooms to get one that didn't have a weird odor. The second time we stayed there we didn't have any issue with odors.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast included make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon plus every other breakfast items you could want. Well stocked and well maintained. Hotel is clean and bed was comfortable.

Very limited seating or gathering area in lobby or outdoors. I personally hate the fluorescent light bulbs in the guest rooms. Hotel has been updated since we stayed there 25 years ago but the lower lever hallways and rooms decor lack the vitality and ambience I expected at a BW Plus property.

Keisha P. is one of the greatest and she makes sure that you are comfortable and she really needs a promotion to be a head manager. the others do not care of your needs or not and can sometimes be very rude. Although I cannot remember the gentleman manager name he seems to care as well that is who needs to be the head manager they make sure to do their job but in a respectful and caring way.

The heartless manager Joakima and how rude she is not caring what you are going through even when you’re trying to be respectful of her and she makes you feel uncomfortable.

The front desk was very pleasant. Our room was nice, comfortable, and clean; even with a dog next to us, we didn't hear it while in the room.

I understand some hotels allow pets, so im not sure if there was a dog convention going on at the time. The hallways and lobby area had dog odor throughout.

Very clean - breakfast foods great, along with a person who kept the dishes full and was very helpful. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Difficult to get to fm 440 when going south fm Raleigh. If not on the right exit road, one drives right by Walnut St.

The location isn't accessable to the highway there is a road barrier to turn left into the area and you are required to make a U turn about a block away Dangerous!! And a full breakfast was not available as shown in the booking description I literally drove from Apex,Nc to Cary ,Nc for my stay because Best western Plus is my go to Hotel but wasn't satisfied with this location. There was a wood spring hotel across the street of where I needed to be on Monday morning but decided to make the drive to Cary because of free breakfast and with my experience with Best western I could not bare to stay anywhere else.

The staff at this BW were exceptionally nice; they were knowledgeable about the property and what they provided. Two young men, Tyreek and Devon, were superb, as the staff was that maintained the breakfast area

The phone in Room 204 where I stayed had a phone cord that would not stay in the back of the phone so it couldn’t be used. All things considered, for the age of the motel it was in good ahape

The room walked out to the pool but you can't just re-enter your room from the door. The room was a nice size, they have a decent breakfast, and a small wet bar.

The staff isn't very friendly but we try to be understanding due to covid and short staff. It was clean over all however I woke up to use the bathroom 1 night and found a roach. There was a dog across the hall 2 of the nights that barked whenever the owners were gone and it woke us up 2 out of 3 mornings.

I LOVED EVERYTHING about this place ong😍😍 . The staff was SOOO SWEET AND FUN! The rooms and entire facility was so clean and pretty. The coffee was OUTSTANDING and available all day! Breakfast was EXCELLENT!(waffle makers, coffee, cereal, etc) and the pool is amazing. We had SO. MUCH. FUN. I’m not kidding. BOOK THIS PLACE!!!! The staff was incredible and we had an absolute blast. We will definitely be back!

Honestly I have not a single thing to complain about. Except MAYBE the size of the rooms. Which were STILL completely fine.
