Wingate by Wyndham Fletcher at Asheville Airport

The cooked breakfast options were limited, alternating between sausages or bacon each day; and cheesy omelettes or scrambled eggs again alternating daily. Porridge, biscuits and gravy were also available. The food was delicious, although it became monotonous after a week. A waffle maker was available too. Bread was available for toast, croissants, yoghurts, a choice of cereals, cakes, preserves, honey, muffins, etc.

This is one of the best kept secrets for those that are traveling into Asheville by plane. The rooms were clean, the service was great, and the breakfast was great as well. This is the second time we’ve stayed here, and the reason we stayed here. The second time was our experience, which was excellent from the first time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for those that need to stay after a long flight from other parts of the country. The hotel itself is within a mile of the airport facilities.

Location is excellent and is close to the highway and everything that Fletcher has to offer.

We requested adjoining rooms before checking in and did not get them. Also we had a 2 night stay and apparat the frontend clerk only keyed our room cards for one night so we were locked out of the building after a hard day's work. This was a real inconvenience because we had to wait until someone else let us in, then go to the front desk to get new keys.

There was no water in Asheville when we arrived and the hotel could not take in guest because of that ( toilets could not be flushed, Laundry done or cleaning). The front desk officer was kind enough to arrange a room for us at a sister hotel ( the Clarion) that had some clean rooms and could still take in guest even though they had no water. All at the same price, they even arranged a shuttle to take us to the new hotel. We appreciate this proactiveness. Both hotels were close to the airport too.

The rooms were clean and staff was friendly. There was a nice continental breakfast (with a few hot items). We got in late and left early, so we were unable to utilize more of the amenities. We forgot some toiletries (toothpaste) and the night manager gave us extra.

One of the exterior doors had a card reader that wasn't working, so we were locked out and had to walk to a different door. This was unfortunate, but didn't impact my review.

Great location just 4 blocks from the airport--one could walk it, in fact. Excellent, responsive shuttle service. For being complimentary, the breakfast was quite good & varied--something for everyone. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious.

The breakfast had some very mysterious, artificial "eggs" that were very insipid and plasticky and formed into a pancake--easily dispensable...and disposable!

The location is great, especially if you need to be near the airport or the WNC Ag Center. The continental breakfast was exceptional 👌 The hot tub was amazing after a long day 😍 I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again. We didn't hear any planes landing or taking off either. That was an unexpected bonus!!

A few ceiling tiles in the public bathroom need replacing. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

I arrived after midnight due to weather delays at the airport. The hotel shuttle stops service at 11:50pm so I asked for late night options and Juan, manning the front desk, suggested the airport car lot shuttle which delivers customers right next door. This plan worked brilliantly as Mr. Mamadou, the friendly airport shuttle driver, delivered me right to the hotel door on that rainy night. This is a clean and quiet hotel with many options for breakfast.

I liked everything.

Everything the staff were polite, the breakfast was amazing, the whole hotel was clean and always smelled clean it was very quiet and peaceful the hotel was next to alot of restaurants

Only thing I didn't really like was the location if your not used to the city then it's kinda hectic trying to drive and not get hit the roads are very confusing getting to the hotel from the exit

Next door to Asheville airport where we had early flight next day. Main reason for choice.

I was banking on ability to park our personal vehicle here at hotel for our trip, and save a few bucks versus airport long-term parking, and shuttle to airport terminal via hotel shuttle. However, no availability for hotel parking which I could not ascertain until we arrived.
