Hampton Inn and Suites Sandusky/Milan

Excellent room and courteous staff. They were able to accommodate an early check in for us with only a few hours notice. Room was extremely clean and comfortable and location wasn't too far of a drive from Cedar Point. We are a family of 5 and having the extra space in our room was amazing even if only for a short stay

While my family enjoyed all the breakfast options, I have dietary restrictions of gluten free and dairy free. I had no options other than fruit for our first day but second day there were scrambled eggs and sausage that I assumed were safe for me to eat. Overall we give it a thumbs up, I just wish some hotels would take into consideration certain dietary needs even if it is a complimentary breakfast.

We loved the comfy bedding..the pillows were so nice and the blanket was so soft! Beds were super comfortable! Room was super clean! Breakfast both days was amazing! Different both days and loved they especially had strawberry waffles with patriotic sprinkles to celebrate the 4th of july! Very nice touch!

The access road was hard to find to go to hotel. The hot tub wasn't working. Bummer...and we could hear the people above us walking and making noise.

It is a very nice and clean hotel and the staff have been amazing. would like to thank Jim for being extremely nice and helpful.

The pool wasn’t usable as it had been over chlorinated. Also it could use a little update with some for the furnishing. The office chair was peeling in our room and also some chairs in the breakfast area need replaced as they too peeling pretty bad and the fabric was dirty

Location great, easy on and off Ohio turnpike. Quick easy check in, room clean, breakfast was good, nice selection, easy checkout

We often travel with our little dog, inquired about fee for our next time passing through, a bit to high, $75 for 1 to 4 nights, yikes. Unfortunately we won’t be staying at this hotel with our dog.

The breakfast was ok, but not like it was before COVID. Miss the danish, muffins, etc as well as the cut up fruit cup. Otherwise, ok.

There was not enough lighting in the room. It was hard to read if you were not on side of bed by night stand. Room needs more lights.

I'm about to rave so hard that you will think I am someone on the staffs' momma, so I allow me to open with a disclaimer. I am in no way related to any of the employees at this facility. Every single employee we encountered was warm, friendly, and over the top helpful. Renee and Stephanie at the front desk provided exception customer service. I don't know what you're paying the staff but you should double it! The hotel does not appear to be brand new so there is a little bit of routine wear and tear but the facility was very clean and well cared for. We were in town for a dance competition and not interested in dropping a ton of cash to stay at a certain water park in the area that shall remain unnamed. This suited our needs perfectly!

Staff was super friendly. lots of cleaning supplies for guests to access which felt good. Room was spacious and comfortable for our fam of 5!

Booking.com filter I had requested hotels within 5 miles of Cedar Point! I *really* thought this location was much closer to the amusement park and instead was a 20 minute drive.

clean rooms and throughout property it always smelled like cleaning chemicals were being used sparingly.

late at night when we checked in we started smelling a gas like smell throughout our hallway and was told it came from an business across the street from the hotel. The smell didn’t last very long anyhow.

They had a pool for both my boys to swim. They had breakfast in the morning. plus the little store to get drinks and snacks. Jim at the front desk was wonderful when we checked in and throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

The beds were sooooo comfortable. The pool was a nice size and the hot tub was AMAZING. Soo glad it they were both open.

The breakfast was horrible!! One bagel with cream cheese, and one yogurt...really? I understand that it is COVID-19 season; however, PLEASE PLEASE provide a little more food in your breakfast options. I don't understand why hotels can't just still serve a full breakfast, BUT have maybe 1-2 staff serving the food (to prevent multiple contamination). Restaurants are open for business with mutiple people serving food SOOO why can't hotels serve a full size breakfast menu? My recent stay at this hotel included multiple children with me and they were all STARVING after eating their bagel and yogurt.
