Microtel Inn & Suites - St Clairsville

We enjoyed very much our stay for 6 days. The room is just perfect. The size, beds, coffee machine, fridge. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The coffee machine was broken, the waffle machine was broken too. There was a hot option every day which was good, but also cold boiled eggs, some fruits, cereals and bars, but out od orange juice!

Some of the washing machines and dries were broken, so we had to wait for other people to finish their laundry. It was just time consuming!

Breakfast was ready at 6:00 am PROMPT !! Very nice selection of Cereals, Pastries, Oatmeals & HOT Scrambled Eggs, Sausages, Home Fries, Pancakes and Fresh Fruit, too. Also, plenty of Juices, Milk, Coffee & a good selection of Teas. The Food & Dining area was extremely CLEAN & comfortable. Our Room was Terrific!! Ground Floor, but Very Quiet. We had a Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee Bar, Luggage Stand, Ironing Board & Iron, Full Length Mirror, Gigantic TV w/Great Reception & Two (2) Extremely Comfortable Queen Beds!! The Bathroom was Sparkling Clean & had Complimentary Shampoos, Soaps, etc., as well as a Hair Dryer. We were traveling with our 14 yr old Dog & she was warmly Welcomed. EVERYTHING was sooooo CLEAN & we felt very Safe, Secure & Comfy. In Fact, on our Return Leg of our Trip, we Booked & Stayed at the Same Hotel ~ it was THAT AWESOME !!!

No Complaints. No Regrets.

Breakfast was prompt (6:00 am) ~ a wide variety of Oatmeals, Cereals, Juices, Teas & Pastries. Two Hot items each morning; Scrambled Eggs, Sausage Links, Home Fries, etc. Everything was available 24/7, except the Hot items; they were from 6:00 am - 10:00 am. Breakfast was Very Satisfying for our Family! The "Kitchen" area was extremely CLEAN. Our Room was very Nice & Spacious. It had a portable Luggage Stand, Ironing Board & Iron, Full Length Mirror, Hangers, Shelves, etc. We had a Clean Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee Maker w/assorted Coffees & Teas and plenty of Cups. Ice Bucket, too. There were small complimentary bottles of Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash & Lotion in the Clean Bathroom, along w/Bar Soap. We each had a Bath Towel, Hand Towel & Washcloth. There was a Hairdryer, too. The TV was very Big & had great reception & lots of channels. NO REGRETS !!!

There really wasn't anything we disliked ... IF things could have been "better", we would have preferred a bigger & thicker Bath Mat for the floor and perhaps an extra set of Towels. We know we could have requested those .. We did request extra Blankets & got them immediately (very clean & heavy) .. We traveled w/our Dog & she was warmly welcomed. You wouldn't know this Hotel was Pet Friendly because Everything was just sooooo CLEAN !!!

Our handicap accessible room was spacious and in a good location on the first floor The staff was friendly efficient and accommodating. Breakfast was good. We were there 4 nights and they served something different every day.

Sometimes we could hear the people in the next room. Our first night tnere the people in the next room had the tv up loud until 4 am.

I really like the Microtel concept and seek these hotels out when I'm on the road. This one offered a quite ample ad tasty breakfast array given that it was a freebie, much better than many similar places. Room was very clean and comfortable.

I left a charger in the room and had difficulty navigating on website to find an actual phone number for the hotel (tho the number on google maps was correct). Then I did not receive any followup from the staff member I reached who promised to look into it.

When we stay overnight on the road, we look for accommodations that are clean, safe, and low-cost. Typically, we get what we pay for -- something basic and clean. This time, we got more than we paid for. It was very clean, we felt very safe, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was set up well, and the breakfast was quite good (except that the scrambled eggs were too salty -- go for the hard boiled ones!).

The in lobby was tastefully decorated in Christmas. So pretty. The gal behind the desk was pleasant and personal yet not nosey. Large room. Loved the higher table against the wall with bright light above. Made putting on make up a breeze. The tv was large enough to watch in bed. The plastic cover on the remote and alcohol wipe was a big plus. Clean area for continental breakfast. We had everything they offered online so we didn't have to request a thing.

Some of the chairs had stains and the toilet paper on the holder in the bathroom was almost empty. (We had another roll on sink)

Location. Price. Comfort. Cleanliness. Had stayed here last Fall, along drive to/from Indianapolis, from Maryland, to visit a relative; the hotel is located close to the midway point of the drive. Was very pleased with the hotel experience last Fall, so decided to stay here again, during the drive TOO Indy. Pleased once again.

very pleasant room. stayed in the handicap room, it was fairly spacious. close to a plaza with all sorts of fast food options. bed was very comfortable.

considering it was a handicap room, i missed a spot where i could put my shower stuff. also the floor got rather slippery when showering.

Very nice size rooms...very clean place with a big breakfast to choose from.Staff was very nice.Will be my new place to stay when in town again.

My fold out couch bed was not very comfortable and I didn't have sheets or pillows, I could have ask but it was 1 am ,I brought my own so I was good.
