Residence Inn by Marriott Wheeling/St. Clairsville

The breakfast was little cold, but for the most part, I made it work. They had cold cereal and they had toast/bagels to make w/ butter and jelly.

I would of done pancakes and french toast in stages, so they wouldn't be cold when the guest came to eat.

The room had all the amenities. Huge shower. Bed was so comfortable .loved having a couch to stretch out on to watch tv. Staff was awesome .breakfast was great.

There was nothing I did not like. Would love to stay again when in the area.

the property was great. The issues I had personally was in the room. the thermostat didn’t put out heat so it was cold for the 2 days stay, the other was the fitted sheets didn’t want to stay on the bed for nothing. I felt like I was constantly pulling the sheets back on the bed. And no bathroom soap in the restroom.

Over all the property is awesome. Kids loved the pool and basketball hoop and the fact the room we rented had 2 TVs . The fire it looked very nice. Wasn’t over crowded.

Some of our dishes were dirty but that wasn’t a problem. Staff was ok at check in. Just seemed a little annoyed when we asked for extra towels . The morning staff the next day seemed happier to be serving us .. Heads up the gps didn’t lead us to it. Just go behind the mall to get there.

Everything except there was no breakfast even though we were told there would be and my coffee pot didn't work in our room had to go to lobby to get coffee, and the second charge for the pet fee caught us off guard because the website just says pet friendly but it doesn't say any amount fee charge I found out when we checked in that we had to pay a charge for our puppy.

The breakfast was very good and Jo was wonderful. She was exceptionally nice with grandkids. She was very pleasant and put us all in a good mood because her positivity spreads!

That our rooms were not together or on same floor.

Beds were super comfy, rooms were clean, pool was amazing, yummy breakfast. The staff was BEYOND amazing! Jo was such a sweetheart to us every morning, and Zach at check in was amazing!

The dog fees cost the price of a room! They do not say anywhere on booking how much the dog fees are then you’ll get an $85 charge

Property was so clean, decorated very beautifully, and the rooms were so comfortable and spacious.

Good location, nice room although we were told by booking.com that the room had a jacuzzi in it

Some of the staff were not wearing masks even though they are suppose to be by the governors order and you have a sign on the door that says masks required. Very upsetting to see people working with the public not following the rules.
