Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Wheeling at The Highlands

Breakfast was good. On Saturday morning we came down for breakfast and Amy was working. I asked her if my cousin was there, and she was very helpful. After we ate breakfast, Amy directed my cousin to the breakfast area before her shift. I have to say Amy was very professional, proficient and customer focused.

When we checked in @ 3pm on 28 July 2023, the female clerk was helpful. But there was a male clerk that just leaned on the wall and hovered around her. He did nothing. However, when I asked about a cousin, he said he could not give out that info. Then I told him name and that she worked there, he said he did not know name but even if he had, he would not give out info. She was the reason I booked there in the first place. He was more of a nuisance and annoyance than a help.

We were completely blown away by this hotel. We were personally greeted once we got there and invited to a social gathering type supper! The room was huge, breakfast was fantastic, The staff couldn't have been nicer! I could go on and on! I don't write reviews but I needed to leave one for this hotel! I would give them six stars if I could!!!

I honestly can't think of one thing I didn't like. The only thing that would make it better maybe is a pool!

More then pleasantly surprised by this hotel. From check-in to Check-out staff was superb. Very kind and professional. We arrived early and our room was ready and allowed to check in early. Bed was very comfortable. Lobby, hallways and rooms were are exceptionally clean. Bathrooms beyond more acceptable. Breakfast the following morning was a full service which in this day is much appreciated. Multiple choices for breakfast. Coffee and Tea available all day. I will be staying here every time I go to this location and will look for this brand when I travel.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The facility is very comfortable and clean. Having a full fridge and kitchenette made my extended stay so much easier. I have to add Michelle, Mary, John, and Robyn went above and beyond making me feel at home. Thank you guys.

The breakfast was lacking. it could have just been for that morning because it’s a pretty good setup but the person making and filling everything looked miserable and was having a hard time getting food out quickly and it wasn’t busy at this time. she just didn’t seem like she cared at all. she wasn’t friendly either.

location right off the highway but quiet; ability to take a nice long, safe walk in the morning; spacious room; room window that opened was the best!

bathroom had only one switch that controlled both light and fan and fan noise too loud and annoying

This is a wonderful ace. Manager went out of her way to go to Walmart and get a shower chair that my wife needed . All the staff was very helpful. Hot breakfast was delicious ever it morning. I recommend anyone deciding where to stay in Tridelphia to stay here.

very clean, even with road construction worker. They wore plastic booties and had boot wash stations to keep the place clean. the hall carpet was a tad dirty, but the rooms, spotless and tidy. even the emergency exit stairwells were immaculate. breakfast was served early. all good

Breakfast was decent but cold, Ms.Rhonda that works the front desk was awesome, she was very nice and courteous she showed us around the hotel and was also very knowledgeable about the area, when we called the front desk and needed a couple of extra blankets she also brought them to us, she made sure we were comfortable she made us feel so welcomed, we will be staying again☺️

The breakfast was cold, but I will say it wasn’t continental, they did serve sausage, scrambled eggs and tator tots so it wasn’t that bad I guess😊

Our room was so high end and contemporary. The art work, the back lit mirror in the bathroom, the unique shower. Everything pertaining to the kitchen was so thorough. Definitely a great value for what we paid. Well thought out on every single inch of the hotel. Impeccable!!!!!
