Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Altoona

The staff was really nice the poor guy at the front had to deal with me. He was great. That pool was good for the kids but the heater didn't work

The 1st room we had the ac worked great but made a high pitch screetch so we switched rooms. That ac would go from arctic air to balmy 84* at random. And the TV didn't work for an hour then got like 6 channels.

I liked the colors and the staff. I liked the lighting and that we could crack the window on the 4th floor. I loved the amount of towels provided to our bathroom and there were drawers and shelves everywhere! Also the view of the mountains was spectacular in the rain! The clouds just roll down them so pretty!

The bathroom had hair in tub and scum on the front of tub. There was dust at the top of the shower. The tv had not been checked to see if it was properly working so the night staff had to do her best and thankfully we got it. We are noise needing people when we sleep. The window was dirty had finger prints and smudges. And there wasn’t a note left in there like I had asked for.

The room was spacious and had two queen size beds, desk space for two, a fridge, microwave and coffee station., as well as a padded window seat.

There was only one light in the room, which was between the beds.

The staff was phenomenal and met my son's allergy needs. The facility was so well kept and clean I was actually surprised. I have never heard of Microtel inn & Suites, but whenever I need to go to a hotel, I will definitely be searching for the nearest one to where I will be going!

I didn't like how there were 4 floors, but they packed the guests in like sardines. On my floor, when we arrived there was only one person to the right of us, by that night we were surrounded on both sides and in front of our room. It was very noisy.

Hotel was very clean and neat. The location was very quiet yet still close to the delgrosso's amusement park which was the reason for travel. . All in all this was a very cozy place and great for a family stay and the cost was very efficient.

Pool water could have been warmer as it was indoors. The water was just to cold to even enjoy a swim. I also think breakfast could be served up until 11 am on weekends as some people don't rise that early or eat that early.

A beautiful hotel! The breakfast was excellent! So much to pick from! All hot and fresh. The room was spotless, sparkling clean with all needed amenities. It was like a photo from a magazine! The front desk staff was exceptionally helpful with our tv issue. They came within a minute and had us all set up in 5 minutes. Friendly and courteous, professional and precise! I will definitely come here and stay!

Hotel was clean and all staff couldn't do enough for you. Always being friendly and helpful.

Opening in island in parking lot to walk thru always has a car parked in it. It is not marked to not park there. Makes for a much longer walk with luggage cart to get to car. Should be marked no parking to make it easier for everyone to get through. Rooms had very few accessible power outlets to charge phones and laptops.

We have stayed in many hotels in the past few years, and this one stands out not only for the clean rooms and well-kept facility, but the friendly staff...and those things are not often found, to be honest. Decent location not far from various amenities. Would definitely stay there again; a pleasant surprise. 👍

Usually we'd have a few things to list on the negative side, but I'm hard pressed to think of any.

Love the location rooms are clean, beds comfortable, ac working well.

There was an issue with the pool brown stuff in it assuming feces. After my son got in another guest told him about it and he got out and went to the room to shower. The pool is prerequisite when we stay so kinda disappointing. Not sure if staff monitor that area regularly but might be good plan to implement. Thanks
