Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Airport

Everyone on staff - from check-in to check-out - was very nice and accommodating, and the hotel met or exceeded the standards of cleanliness, customer service, and most amenities I've come to expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. It is a short, easy drive to Pittsburgh International, and there is a nice selection of eateries right next door. This is the first hotel I've stayed at (and I've traveled extensively) with true blackout curtains, which were much appreciated as I needed to go to bed early (before dark). It was the first time I didn't need chip clips to keep them shut (which I carry with me just for that).

Since I was taking my daughter to the airport at 5 a.m., I really needed that first cup of coffee. Thankfully, there are Keurigs in the rooms, but the coffee was not even decent gas station/convenience store quality. I tried the lobby coffee (which was fresh), and it was the same. I still drank both (quantity over quality that early was necessary), but I will remember to bring my own K-cups for my next stay. Coffee isn't a showstopper for me - I will be staying here again in a couple of weeks - but it's the little things.

The hotel is beautiful with lovely amenities. It is in an area with multiple restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were all very pleasant and professional. We especially liked the young woman who checked us in and answered many questions about the airport shuttle etc in an honest manner…I wish I’d taken note of her name to give her a shoutout.

Nothing really…an included breakfast would be nice but the price of the wonderful breakfast I ordered was very reasonable.

I was glad to be back to visit Robinson township again since I lived there in the fifties and so much has changed. I liked the two double beds and the pool and whirlpool. i wanted to be near the bus terminal for the bus tour I was taking early in the morning. We arrived in plenty of time with time to spare.

I did not receive the wakeup call I ask for, but I have a little back up alarm, so I was okay. The alarm clock next to the bed did not work it was set for 2:30 am and I could not change it. I left it on for 2:30am by accident and it woke up my partner who is a senior citizen and that frightened him, but he managed to go back to sleep anyways.

Bed was comfortable and all the bedding was luxurious...loved the pillows! Bathroom was delightful! Loved the pull shades on the window. Loved the wall thermostat! Liked the location and convenience of the Coffee/microwave/fridge area. The closet area was great with a nice big mirror and extra storage. We just LOVED the room!

The fact that breakfast was not included in the price of our room. :(

My stay was very short just overnight with a very early flight. Front desk Tammy was very kind and informative. Airport shuttle was very important. Shuttle service was excellent. My room was very lovely, very clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfy! I was extremely tired and so appreciative of your hospitality. Thank you.

Beautiful hotel, the most comfortable bed, sheets and pillows around (seriously!)... I'm personally not a fan of the barn door on the bathroom. My only complaint. Fantastic, friendly service and employees. Beautiful holiday decorations. Wonderful stay.

See above. Barn doors on bathroom... not as private as I like my bathroom experience to be, even amongst family. Personal preference. Looks nice, not practical (for me)

I loved the grounds, they were beautiful. Alot of outdoor seating. I also loved the hand sanitizer stations were everywhere with actual sanitizer available.

The front desk employee that checked us in was not very pleasant, very negative actually. Discussed and showed irritation towards caller that called in while I was checking in to me. Unprofessional and disappointing. Called for extra pillows and towels and was greeted with a distasteful tone.

Friendly staff. Super clean and updated rooms. Nice outdoor hang spot with a fire. Convenient store within walking distance. And snacks and drinks at the front desk. Would happily stay here again in the future!

Overall it was great place but if I had to complain about something it would be the price of beer lol but I still had a few 😅🍻

I liked that I had to travel with my kids and we all felt safe. The person at check-in put us on a higher floor, at my kid's request and we loved being able to watch the planes take off and land. I also thought the location was perfect because, instead of having to get back in the car to go eat, we easily walked to the next parking lot for dinner and dessert.

I forgot to put in my Hilton Rewards number so I may have paid for the water. Otherwise, there wasn't anything we didn't like. Maybe the locked door to the adjoining room but it didn't seem like anyone was in the next room so all good.

When we checked in, Kaitlyn, the receptionist not only focused on me, but also interacted with my kids as well. When she found out that my girls were excited about seeing the planes up close, she offered to put us in a room that overlooked the runway. My girls were enthralled, watching the planes take off and land. She also gave me a few tips about the local area to help us save a little money, and brought extra pillows up to our room on request. There is a TON of outdoor seating that you can sit and enjoy the weather when it is nice. Despite being within spitting distance of the airport, the hotel was quiet and everyone we interacted with was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

There were a few horse flies that found their way into our room, but they were easily dealt with. The pricing for the convenience food and drinks seemed extremely high, even for “convenience” pricing. We wound up eating breakfast at the restaurant before we left; the quality for breakfast food didn’t live up to the expectations I had. However, there are about 6 restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, so this is not a dealbreaker.
