Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Pittsburgh South - Airport

The room was comfortable, if a little worn (one light fixture had some rust on it, and the bathtub seemed old). Beyond that, the room was fine. The location was great, with several food options very close, and if someone needed to get to the airport, it would be very easy to get to.

The only issue I had with the room was the door: the lock stuck, making me think it was a key issue, so i spent about half an hour running back and forth from the office trying different keys. A little graphite should do the trick!

I really liked the way the room was set up. It was a king size suite. It was easy to get in and out and in a great location with everything close by. They even give you a discount on a great local diner.

Maintenance maintenance on the facility didn't seem to be knowledgeable. Now I am a retired contractor of over 20 years, but even just by looking at labels you would know which paint to use in a bathroom. Other than that the only complaint I would have is the TV entertainment service. Although they did offer HBO and local channels the controls and TVs need a little updating.

The room and location. I was satisfied with the great variety of channels on the TV. The bed was very comfortable.

Building 2 had a strange smell in the hallway. It was like somebody had an accident inside the first room I passed on the way to mine. I couldn't figure it out or it was some aging carpet. That was the only thing that bothered me a bit.

The employee's all are nice, polite professional and helpful. Red roof is my first choice when staying at a hotel.i can always find a good rate .

There are 0 smoking rooms. I had to step outside to smoke . no big deal thats really the only thing i can think of that I didn't truly like. Its minor so what im saying is there really isn't anything I don't absolutely like.

Great location, tons of options for food in the area. Big mall right around the corner. Beds were comfortable.

The Heater/AC wasn't the greatest... had some minor issues with trying to keep the temperature at a comfortable level. No fridge in the room. The door would stick a bit.

We didn't have the chance to have breakfast since we left at 3:45am. We love the location though as it is close to the airport and right next to it is a restaurant with good food.

The room is a bit small than what I thought it would be, but the bed was comfortable to sleep in.

There was no coffee pot. They had coffee at the desk, but you needed to get dressed to get a cup of coffee. My door card failed twice. If the cards are old they need to replace them.

The room was nice & clean. Well stocked with towels and pillows even complementary drinks and snacks in mini fridge. Great Price. Friendly Staff. I would book here again if in town.

Location, location, location! So close to airport--super convenient for our early flight.

Old door handle was extremely hard to open. Staff gave us a lesson, but it should probably be replaced soon. Otherwise everything was fine.
