Staybridge Suites Pittsburgh Airport, an IHG Hotel

1) The room was perfect 2) I expected that the breakfast would be better. In addition, I made my wishes on the reservation for breakfast Gluten Free and on my arrival at the hotel i asked the manager about my wishes Gluten Free at least bread and he surprised by my request,

I cannot charge my electric car despite the presence of the device, and no one bothered to try to solve the problem, knowing that the place where the electric car is charged, we find normal cars where they do not run on electricity.

The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. For travellers in and out of Pittsburgh Int’l Airport the free shuttle provided to and from is very convenient (on arrival into Pittsburgh just phone reception for shuttle). Many amenities for a decently priced hotel (pool, fitness center, free parking, laundry facilities, excellent variety at breakfast). Would stay again if the occasion arose.

It would have been helpful if information for how to use their airport shuttle service was included in the FAQ. But they did respond quickly when property was contacted.

We were shocked at how updated this hotel was. Every room has a kitchenette loaded with all utensils, pots, pans, toaster, microwave, stove top, and a very large refrigerator. It has more of an open concept than most hotels. There was complimentary popcorn, an actual size coffee pot, on top of the two queen beds there was also a sofa bed. Most hotels don't have a table to eat on and this place has that. The hair dryer was more effective than all other hotel hair dryers I've ever used. They supply dove lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was a huge plus (unlike most hotel shampoos carry cheaper products that don't really work) Our family of five all slept comfortably.

The pool lighting felt like a warehouse. The pool was clean and warm, it is just fairly small and the lighting could have been a little less bright.

The hotel was way more than I expected especially for the price. The rooms were big and they were very clean with modern updates. The rest of the hotel was also clean and modern and breakfast was great with a nice selection.

There were only two things about the hotel that were disappointing and that was the lack of a jacuzzi which I knew when booking but it would have made our stay even better. The second thing was just annoying and inconvenient the key cards expire at ten on your final day which meant while we were enjoying breakfast our card expired and we weren't able to get back into our room without going back to the front desk to get a new card.

The location was great! Close to downtown and surrounding areas of Pittsburgh. It was clean and had a great breakfast.

The hotel advertised a free shuttle to the airport, when I reserved one, I found out 10 minutes before it was suppose to pick me up it was full.. that was a MAJOR problem and inconvenience! I had to Uber to the airport to catch my flight. Front desk person didn’t seem to know what to do. Maybe there should be protocols in place, as I think it’s a regular occurrence.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. Spacious room and I liked how the living area and sleeping areas were separated. Desk staff was friendly and accommodated our request for rooms close together even though the hotel was full. Would definitely stay again.

The air conditioner was really noisy and bothered our sleep. There also could have been slightly more parking. Breakfast area could have been attended to a little better, but didn’t impact me much personally.

The staff were very professional and accommodating. The check in process was flawless and there were no complaints on a pretty special weekend. There were a lot of other guests, and from what I could see, all were attended to in a very timely and efficient manner. Remarkable traffic control and situational awareness by the receiving associate. She was managing the front desk systems, and if required troubleshooting while simultaneously displaying exceptional intrapersonal skills and problem solving. All tasks performed with respect and professional courtesy. Also, the room provided went above and beyond my expectations. Very impressed with the attention to detail. When we arrived the room was clean, very spacious and comfortable. Overall the common areas were clean and well kept. The staff was polite, and having coffee in the lobby at all times and free laundry services was a great bonus. Also the breakfast options were decent and tasty. Location was excellent as there was plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, which we needed for our college bound girl to do some last minute dorm shopping.

When we arrived the room was cleaned, but coffee packets were not refilled, bathroom tissue or paper towel roll neither. Body wash bottle was near empty and didn't dispense after first use and we had to ask for it to be refilled since it wasn't done by housekeeping. We had initially three towels in our room and they took the dirty one we discarded but did not provide a new one and we were left with just two towels. So after a great impression of the hotel and room cleanliness, the subsequent housekeeping upkeep did not meet our expectations.

Animals friendly.... Too cool to allow big threatening dogs. I moved when I saw the picture of a customer that put her dogs on the queen bed. On can contact skin infections.

From the moment you step foot in the lobby you can tell there is pride in this facility. The lobby was clean and bright. The staff that checked us in and out of our stay were very friendly and attentive. The room was clean, everything was well stocked and the kitchenette was a nice bonus. Pots and pans available to use if needed. They also provide a breakfast, which we didn’t use but was a nice addition if you are looking for that.

They were testing the smoke alarms during the morning, which was no big deal but a heads up would’ve been appreciated. We were woken up at 8am very confused as to what was happening.
