Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Pittsburgh Airport, an IHG Hotel

The staff was very friendly and ready to assist in making our stay comfortable. Breakfast was served hot and ready on time or earlier all five days of our stay. The room was spacious and clean, beds all in poofy white. However, the beds set rather high for people who are under 5'6".

The pool wasn't open even though some days were hot. I heard a prior group of guests had made a mess of things during their stay. The beds set rather high for us not so tall people making sitting on the side of the bed uncomfortable.

The breakfast was amazing. Our boys went back for thirds! The buffet was always full and the staff was amazingly kind and smiley, even with a hotel full of us hippies. The agent who checked us in was super patient (as Booking had transposed my first and last name, so we needed to figure that out), and had a really great sense of humor. The room was large and well-appointed, and we wished we could have stayed additional days.

The beds were definitely not as comfortable as they looked, but they appeared clean and we slept okay. I wish there were nightstands on both sides of the beds, though!

We were able to make a same day reservation. It was close to the airport. Our suite was pretty large and the bedroom has a door (so I can go to sleep while others stay up and watch TV). We did not feel unsafe there.

The hotel looks a little run down (in need of updates). There was no one at the front desk when we arrived. Our room was not entirely clean - there was a piece of trash in the bedsheets (like the corner of a food wrapper or something) and there was hair in the tub. But the room wasn’t gross and it didn’t smell bad.

Great Location near the airport. Shuttle driver that picked me up from airport was very nice. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good. Lady at front desk gave me a paper with at least 30 restaurants within 2 miles of Hotel, I ordered from Smokey Bones and it was Delicous. Next day I had lunch at Burgatory and believe me you can't go wrong with the bison burger and Homemade chips. Great Food! I would stay at this hotel again.

Traveled to Pittsburgh with my daughter for a concert. Close to restaurants and highway access was easy on/off. Breakfast was nice.

Used bar of soap in tub from previous guest, bathroom floor and tub extremely slippery, pillows could use updating, guests in next room used hallway for food trash overnight instead of trashcan in their room.

I loved that our room had a view of the pool. So we could sit on the balcony an watch everyone swim.

The only downside was the remote batteries were going dead. So you had to manually change the channels. Also not having a guide option for the cable, we didn't know what was on other than ESPN for like 6 channels.

the breakfast was delicious. And the fact that the overnight shuttle operator offered to take us to the airport early Christmas Morning was a blessing! Thank you for accompanying us.

The heater in the bedroom was not correctly working

The location and the staff: the lady organizing the breakfast was very nice so was the shuttle driver. The free airport shuttle and wake-up call. All good.

The building is outdated and our room was not very clean.

The Shuttle service was not available. I called before the trip to schedule the pick up from the airport, but at the arrival, nobody answer the phone. I had to take a Taxi. It shouldn't be offered as a service.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Our room was clean & comfortable. The bed & pillows were fantastic. Breakfast every morning was great. Nice selection of items to choose from. Staff was friendly & helpful.

Hotel rooms should have a few hooks to hang clothes, sweaters, etc.
