Sonesta Simply Suites Pittsburgh Airport

Very nice facility. The front desk is friendly, helpful, and pleasant. I stayed for more than 2 days, so I needed to return my used linen and pick up new linen. Also, I was responsible for my own garbage, because I was there more than a couple days. The kitchen area is nice. It includes a sink, dishes, dishwasher, paper towels, pots, toaster, refrigerator, and a coffee maker. It is very nice. My room had 3 chairs, a big, comfy, queen sized bed, a tv, Very nice hotel. They do not have room servic, a pool, but there are a lot of food options near by and entertainment.

Cleanliness, comfort, staff, price, and location. This has been our hotel of choice, even before it became Sonesta. I'm extremely happy that it's still a GREAT place to stay. We'll be back!!!

The housekeeper left a container with popcorn in it, from the previous guest. But, EVERYTHING else was fine.

It's hard to write a thorough review as we were only here for 8 hours before an early morning flight. Hotel was quiet and clean, room was spacious and had everything you would need for a longer stay. There are lots of places to eat and shop within a five - 10 minute drive and you could even walk to some places. The proximity to the airport without the price tag of the hotel at the airport is the real value. We took our two dogs and there are lots of grassy areas to walk them.

The bed was comfy but small for 2 people. Would be fine for 1 person.

This was a very reasonable choice for a quick trip to PA to see a college game at Acrisure. Although getting out of the stadium was a nightmare. Especially if getting a ride service make sure you go the correct way leaving the stadium to put you out front by the station. Also Uber service cancelled last minute due to traffic!!! Had to wait a long time to get someone else who wasn't a jerk. Being able to save some money on food costs (not eating out all the time) was great. Glad I read a review warning to turn ice maker on when I arrived.

I have no complaints.......but staff should turn on ice maker before guests arrive. Luckily I read a review that mentioned that the ice maker needed to be turned on if you wanted ice.

Location was great and the price could not be beat for the size and amenities of the room. I especially love having a full size regenerator with freezer. Tayon (apologies if I spelled it incorrectly) and Anthony at checkin were wonderful in accommodation a last minute change. Both friendly and professional. Jessica at check out was perfect as well. Would definitely stay there again.

Not a big deal...really minor: Maybe check to see that the basic utensils/glasses are stocked for two people. There was only one fork and one spoon which was not probelm for me because I was by myself. Also maybe a note on the refrigerator to remind people to turn on the ice maker. At the desk they were nice enough to give us some, but I would have turned the icemeker on if I had realized I needed to...and I was really slow.

The room was clean and well maintained. The bathroom was super clean. It was a fairly quiet place to stay, even for being an extended stay hotel that allows pets.

The common areas, like the hallways could use either new carpets or carpet cleaning. i should have called down to the front desk to ask for an extra pillow and blanket for the room, but even for a queen bed, I’m surprised they only had 3 pillows on the bed and no extra blanket; either on the bed or in the closet.

The suite was large and had a full size fridge, microwave, and small electric range. The room was clean and comfortable.

You cannot control the A/C to constantly stay on, so I had to put the setting to 64 to stay at a comfortable setting a night (and I usually sleep at 73 for reference so it definitely wasn’t actually that cold m!.

Simply Suites is convenient, clean and affordable. The kitchenette is nice.

The television was a bit dated. The remote didn't work very well. The kitchenette only had one glass (which was ok since I was traveling solo). There was a noise which came and went during the day that sounded like a jack hammer or a helicopter inside the building. It seemed to come from "mechanical room." It didn't bother me too much but I think it might be hard for some people to sleep when it was happening.

The young man that checked us in, Tavon, hope I spelled that right was wonderful. Very detailed about the property and the amenities. Extremely friendly and professional. I stay at many high end hotels and his demeanor was tops and his customer service was excellent. Rooms are well equipped and clean. The only issue we had was the water pressure in the shower. I told front desk upon checkout. Should be an easy fix. Will stay here again.

The room was clean with all appropriate toiletries. etc. The building was nice and clean. There was a stovetop and small refrigerator.

The room and the double bed (not Queen bed) were just too small. It would probably be fine for a single person. There was no microwave, which I thought would be standard in a suite.
