Hilton Garden Inn Erie

Restaurant was excellent as were the waitresses. Breakfast was a 10/10. Pool/hot tub facilities were good. Room was clean. Stayed there before and would stay there again.

Liked the pool and hot tub but they but need some attention/cleanup. Interior of the hot tub looks like it needs a good cleaning. Towels at the pool were paper thin. If you're staying for a few days at the rate we paid there should be enough clean towels and toilet paper to last the length of the visit. Not completely thrilled with the lack of housekeeping. It's not necessary to change the sheets daily, but there has to be a better way to distribute clean towels other than standing in line at the front desk or tracking down a housekeeper.

Staff was very friendly and the facilities were clean. Drinks were mixed well and bartender was great. The pool and whirlpool were very well maintained and had a great temperature. The hotel is close to a lot of shops and restaurants which made things very convenient.

The bed was noisy everytime you moved. It squeaked and it did wake me and my husband up a couple times when one of us moved. The pressure in the shower wasn't horrible but also wasn't terrific.

The hotel is close to restaurants and shopping and gas stations.

Our check-in experience was not handled very well. We arrived at 2 pm and attempted to check in. We were told the room was not ready and to come back at 3 pm. When we returned at 3 pm the room was still not ready. We finally were checked in at 3:30 pm. At not time did any staff member tell us why the room was not ready or apologize for the inconvenience. Luckily there are many hotels at this particular location.

The room was a lot bigger than I thought, very clean and well put together. Loved the location, as it was close to the water park but far enough out of crazy traffic.

We tried to get into the pool our first night, and could only be in there for a little bit as there were kids being absolutely obnoxious and not being watched by their mother, and we had to leave because it hurt my babies ears. Next night comes and we were told the night prior we could get time alone in there for the inconvenience, but it was booked all night and we couldn’t get in. Very frustrating for me considering it would’ve been fun for us. Definitely don’t recommend the pool if you have a baby.

Breakfast was fine. Front desk people were awesome. Nicole, Delight, and Lisa!

One day the waiter wasn't very good. We waited a while to be seated while he talked. He took things from table when we weren't done eating. Wasn't attentive at all. This was our only negative with our stay.

Great location, near everything in Erie. Junior Queen Suite is perfect for a large group, fits 6 people easily! Beds very comfortable and pool was a hit with the kids. Very quiet, couldn't hear rest of our group's kids in the room next door unless the rooms were both open.

carpet has some tape on it, but really not a huge deal for us traveling with 3 adults and 8 kids. my room smelled like man's cologne, but at least it wasn't foul smelling

The shower was a small hand held spray. Very tricky to use and with the shower curtain being cloth, all the water was on the floor. The beds were very soft and we woke up with sore backs. You can tell the furniture was modified for covid safety. The chairs were missing from the room.

I'm a mom and this was my night for time with my husband and to relax and let me tell you I got the best nights sleep in what feels like a year and they had different types of pillows on the bed so i got to choose what i liked and the tub was so hot and relaxing. Most hotels don't let the water get hot but let me tell you I felt completely relaxed in a very hot tub. Carlos at the front desk was amazing when checking in.

Honestly there's very little I didn't like and if I were being nit picky it was the shades left a 2 inch gap to let in the light in the morning and housekeeping knocking on the door at like 1030.

I loved how clean it was! I am one to flip sheets and mattresses to check ! The hot tub was everything that I imagined, it was such a great experience.

The front desk staff the evening of February 5, 2021 was great. We had an issue with the lighting in our original room and he was very quick to remedy it, even though there was not a maintenance person in the building.

There was a rather expensive fee for coffee in the lobby in the morning. I think it was $2.50 for a small and $4.50 for a large coffee. This just seemed extreme. We weren't staying in a cheap hotel. I would have expected the coffee to be complimentary.
