Baymont by Wyndham Erie

Breakfast was excellent. The food bar, tables and floor were very clean. Very good selection of food items and continuously stocked. Coffee was very good. Room was very clean and surprisingly spacious, the TV worked well, and the A/C was perfect. Cleaning staff were very pleasant and really seemed to enjoy their job. What a refreshing change from what I've routinely seen at other motels. This building and grounds were very well maintained and reflected pride in ownership. Excellent location and convenient to major highways and extensive shopping. I also appreciated the military discount.

Only thing I didn't like was the tallest being so low yeah I think of a 6'7 people but honestly I normally would get a handicap room and I think those thoughts are much higher but management made sure I have bar rails of cheer in my room for the shower it went out their way to help me and give me a bigger room since they didn't have no handicap rooms available and I really appreciate that thank you so so much I didn't have to do that

The cleanliness of this hotel is second to none! They are very good at taking pride in their facility! While we were checking in there was a construction worker which had been here for 1 week & he couldn't say enough positive things about this hotel! He was right! Their rooms were immaculate and plenty of towels, wash clothes and very nicely laid out. They are doing renovations which are just going to put this Baymont at the top of the list! Great job to all the employees who are in the background making sure that their hotel is remarkably taken care of!

The bed was a little too hard in the King room. I also wish that they would have a step stool available for a short person to get on these high-top beds with. Other than these 2 minor things I would highly recommend this Baymont!!

What we liked about the property is, that sheetz is right across the street and the casino too!

What we didn’t like about the property was when checking in, it took the guy at the desk over a half hour to check me in! I stood at the desk for over a half hour while he answered phone call after phone call! The people in from of us got the 100.00 fee waved because his card was declining but i stood there for over a half hour and my fee didn’t get waved! Very annoyed at the start of the trip after driving 3hrs!

Breakfast was very good and I loved that it was ready early! Every one of the staff was very nice and very helpful! The room was clean and I loved that they came in every day to make the bed and just tidy up!

The walls are like paper and it was VERY hard to sleep!!!! Not being able to sleep was rough because I had to get up very early every day! It didn’t help that the bed was like sleeping on a brick but at least I could get used to that.

Breakfast selection was very good. Room was clean and temp was excellent. Stayed for 5 nights with a 'do not disturb' notice on the door. Worked very well. Had to empty trash can and just sat it outside the door.

There were a few cosmetics such as (burnt out light bulb, loose commode seat) which we typically only jot these down on a piece of note paper with the room number and turn it in at the front desk.

Convenient to restaurants, and shopping. Easy to find right off the highway. The room was clean. The bed extremely comfortable. Maybe a little hard for most people but just to my liking. Right across the road from the race track and casino. Very good breakfast with an excellent variety. Very fast Wifi.

Your WiFi was unable ever night of our stay. The breakfast was unavailable Saturday. I realize that everyone has staffing problem now, but for the price we paid I expected better. I would have a problem recommending you facility. When I reported the WiFi to the desk I was told it was our device. Three I pads all unable to connect? Just admit you equipment is unable to handle the volume.

Front desk staff pleasant. Rooms were clean. Nice location to the Casino..

Breakfast was non existent due to a couple groups hoarding all the food. Staff wasn't monitoring the situation and we arrived at 8:45 am to nothing left at all. Not even bread. The folks eating had multiple plates of food on their tables heaping with food. It was disgusting. Kids were running around touching everything. We went to Bob Evans.

I got a very good price through Booking.com, and the room was nice, certainly for what I paid. It was a little small, but we only stayed one night. The bed was comfortable, not plus…the room was older, step over the tub shower…no grab bars…but all in all…we were fine. Breakfast was hot, free and delicious…very nice people preparing and serving it. I still give this hotel pretty darn close to perfect scores…what I did not like could not have been changed.

Just smaller room size…no grab bars in shower, no walk in shower
