Red Roof Inn Erie – I-90

Small room but it had everything we needed and was clean. Very comfortable bed, good vanity space around the sink, excellent shower (great pressure, lots of hot water, very secure non-skid tub floor, handy grab bar), loved the wood floor which is so much more sanitary than carpet, easy parking just outside our door, good price compared to other area lodging.

There was lots of traffic noise from I-90 and the toilet seemed lower than a normal toilet. In spite of these issues, we were happy with our one night here.

Clean, comfortable room and the staff were all pleasant.

The location is not good at all! The hotel is sandwiched between the interstate and a Motel 6, and must be reached by a narrow access road that is just south of the eastbound on ramp for I-90! To go north from the hotel, one must drive south on SR 97 to Schultz Road, then west on Broomfield to the light at the intersection with SR 97, then make a left turn. Awkward and, frankly, it feels dangerous! The hotel doesn't have an elevator, and the stairs to the second floor are rather steep.

we stayed here as a stopping point on our way home, so it was only to sleep. Arrived at 10pm and out by 6am. The location is great, right off of I-90. Easy on and off. The front desk staff were both very friendly and efficient. The rooms were very clean and look to have been updated recently! Everything looked to be newer. Very happy with it!

Only slight concern I can think of is we were on the 2nd floor (room doors were inside the building, instead of outside like the first floor). The building side door to get to the stairs did not require a room key to enter. It was completely unlocked.

Room was clean and comfortable. No irritating noises from cooling system or frig. Appreciated free pet policy. Have stayed here before and will stay again!

No complaints.

Quick stop off highway, very affordable. No frills, but clean, dog friendly, quiet and got the job done. Couldn’t really hear highway noise especially with ac on and we were on the highway side. Convenient McDonalds in parking lot for getting back on the road in the morning. Will probably stay here again next time we make this road trip.

All kid stations on the tv were part of extra paid packages only. Bathroom doorknob fell off, trapping my husband in the bathroom for a minute, bed mattresses were a little floppy/lumpy upon sitting, but actually slept comfortably in the end.

the room was clean, bed comfortable and the service was good. the location of the room was quiet. lots of hot water and the shower felt good after a night of driving in 50+mph winds. felt good to relax and get a good nights sleep.

there wasn't anything I was dissatisfied with. I did leave the travel water dish of my dogs behind in the room. I didn't realize until I was in the state of Virginia unfortunately.

I am a retired hotel general manager, and currently operating a Airbnb property. During this past Easter weekend, a large group wanted to rent our entire house. Unfortunately, that included my bedroom, requiring me to seek a hotel. From the reservation process, to my departure everything was great. I was seeking a clean, comfortable room, and this Red Roof Inn came through. My king room had recently been updated, including hardwood floors, and a great desk/work station area. Despite families with children next door, the room was fairly quiet as well. The check in, and out process were effortless. They currently use their night window, for all transactions due to the virus situation. Already planning several return trips in May. Highly recommended property.

The ONLY thing that I was slightly disenchanted with, was the bathroom exhaust fan. It appeared much louder than most, I have used, or heard in the past. Unfortunately, there was not a separate switch for just the fan. When you turn the bathroom light on, the fan automatically comes on as well. There were so MANY other good things about the motel, the fan could not change my 10 star rating.

Everything was clean and smelled good. I stayed next door to them on my way out on vacation and had a terrible stay. Remembered Red Roof Inn when I was leaving the other motel. Decided to try them on my return trip... Traveling again in Oct. 2021 and I will make reservations with Red Roof Inn.

I would of liked a little less of a room rate while traveling during the week but it wasn't too bad.

as with all red roof properties, very clean, reasonably priced, and comfortable.

The only thing missing in the room was a freezer compartment in the refrigerator. It’s nice to be able to freeze your ice packs for the following day traveling.

before Covid, I use this property often, nice location , clean , and reasonable rates!

the heat could not warm the room, and to top it off they required a $100 deposit!!!! needless to say after all these years, I guess that was my last stay!!
