Escape Inn Hershey

Our stay at Escape Inn Hershey was nothing short of exceptional. Its prime location near attractions, the beautifully renovated rooms, unbeatable value, and the exemplary inn experience make it a must-visit for anyone traveling to the Hershey area. I can confidently say that this inn contributed significantly to making my Hershey trip a memorable and delightful experience. I look forward to returning on my future visits to the area.

One of the notable drawbacks of our stay was the absence of an on-site restaurant. This made finding a suitable breakfast spot a challenge. It would have been convenient to have a dedicated breakfast area within the inn itself.

Very comfy rooms and beds. Good location, close to the park but still a bit out of the major parts of town. Quiet area, quiet building. Front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly! Hopefully they get commended for their efforts and service, made us feel very welcomed.

Parking was minimal, but okay. The bathroom did not have any vents or airflow, which is a preference but with a smaller room, I think it’s important, especially when sharing it with others. Even a small internal fan would be nice. The USB ports on the furniture did not work in my room, but it seems to be common with multiple hotels/chains. Only major issue was with the mini-fridge. It stopped working for a few hours out of nowhere, and we had some food get warm. It eventually worked, but it was still a bit sad to have to toss good food.

Needed a last minute room near the medical center. It was very convenient, clean, comfortable, and required very minimal walking. Had everything I needed: elevator, easily adjustable heat, (like new) large sink & bathtub, microwave, mini fridge, nice furniture & lighting, extra outlets w/ USB, and very accommodating staff. Booking, check in and check out were all a breeze. Left feeling rejuvenated. Updates appear ongoing. Rooms seem to have taken priority over the exterior appearance, which is much appreciated. If all you need is a place in Hershey to sleep and shower, and do not want to pay for extras that you aren't going to use, then look no further.

I was delighted at the cleanliness, everything was spic and span and in good repair. I was also very pleasantly surprised to find out that they had an elevator! Not a convenience I'm used to seeing at more motel-style accommodations, but because it's built up over its parking lot with no rooms on the ground floor, it was necessary to provide accessible rooms. Makes it much easier to take your belongings up. It was pretty quiet there, several breakfast options nearby like Bob Evans, Panera Bread, and some diners. Very close to Hershey Medical, and just a few minutes drive to the Hershey entertainment venues. Without a doubt, I would stay there again.

Literally the only thing I noticed was the tub was draining a little slowly, which I reported at check out so I'm sure it was taken care of.

I think the walls are thin?..we could hear a constant music ..like a radio..it was next door..it was eventually turned off! At 4.30 am ..an alarm went off ..and off and off . !! My husband had to get up and bang on the door of our neighbour so it would be switched off

First impressions are HUGE for me, if I don't have an amazing 1st impression, chances are I won't enjoy myself. From the second we walked into the lobby, we were greeted by one of the sweetest women I have ever met! We told her we were there for our 10th wedding anniversary, so she extended our checkout time from 11 to one, FOR FREE. The room was spotless, smelled great and the linens felt brand new. The beds were a 7/10 (but I also have back problems) my husband slept great all night. The bathroom was a little small, but was good enough to get your shower and use the bathroom.

We actually really liked this hotel and would definitely stay again (in fact we are in a few days when we pass through town again on the way home). It’s super close to all of the attractions without being right in the middle of it. The staff were super nice. Highly recommend. Parking is convenient.

We couldn’t get the TV to work which honestly wasn’t a huge deal for us because we stayed one night and pretty much only slept in the room. :)

the rooms were recently remodeled and are nice, clean and up to date. We were comfortable. the outside of the hotel looks like a very old time motel, despite that, and thankfully I read this same sentiment in previous reviews before I booked, the hotel is well maintained and the inside looks nothing like the outside. It had current color palettes, shower and flooring, etc. We even lucked out with the parking under the building as it was pouring rain when we were unpacking the car late at night. The owners have clearly put love and money into this property...we would certainly stay again.

It was right by the convention center, I really liked the Privacy we had and everything was very quiet I don't know if we just got lucky with the tenants or if it's always like that. The Italian restaurant right next door has the best gnocchi I've ever had

The stairs were kind of a pain if you got there after the lobby locked up for the night there's no outside elevator. Lack of coffee pot made me kind of sad but that's minimal compared to most places I've stayed.

It was very close to Hersheypark and the Stadium. There were restaurants and stores nearby. The room was very clean and the bathroom shower had good water pressure. We even had a microwave, refrigerator, ironing board/iron, lots of towels and a hair dryer in the room.

Everything was great! I would definitely stay there again but I wish it had a pool. The check-in area was very small and there was no breakfast that was offered. I feel those are minor things - like I said previously I would definitely stay there again!
