Best Western Plus Hershey

Breakfast was fantastic! My kids loved it especially the pancake maker. Beds were very comfortable and room was nice large enough for family.

Management seems to have a crazy view of customer service, would not provide extra towels. Most of the shower soaps were empty upon arrival and could not be filled until the next day. I stay at hotels all over the world and never encountered such issues. I did not speak to management bc the items were minor but SMH. It’s not the most expensive hotel in the area but it’s certainly not the cheapest. Will probably try a different hotel next time we visit the area.

Cleanliness

Floors. The only reason it wasn’t overall exceptional stay is there must have been kids in it on above us who did no stop running back and forth from 4 pm until 9 pm’ish. I made all it loud in our room even while trying to relax and watch television. It at times became very annoying and even made us wonder if they would stop so we could sleep that night. It is just a pricier room to have to deal with that but that said me and my wife are not complainers so we sucked it up. We did not reach out to hotel staff to ask for anything to be done and we all know kids are kids. Everything else including staff was very nice and was there if you had questions.

We were very pleased with Best Western Plus overall. We actually had reservations at another hotel down the street, however upon arrival, the lady at the front desk was rude and not very welcoming at all. The room in the other hotel was very dark and outdated. I knew immediately that I had to find another place to stay with my two children. I reserved a room through Booking.com at Best Western Hershey and thankfully they had one room left for the dates we were staying. We were immediately welcomed by the lady at the front desk, the room was clean and bright and was just what we we looking for. Jess from the front desk, exceeded expectations, she was accommodating and friendly, offered ideas for us to have dinner and went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. She put a stop to a bunch of shenanigans that was going on with a bunch of kids on our floor as well. She was AMAZING!! Jess does a fantastic job at Best Western Plus in Hershey PA. We will most definitely be back!

Decent beds. Nice Shower. Normal hotel breakfast that is well stocked and cared for. Clean rooms. Average overall for hotels but far superior than most hotels we have stayed in near amusement parks. We travel frequently to amusement parks and this was probably the cleanest and most well stocked breakfast area we’ve been in.

Nothing negative, but we do wish it had a hot tub! (we did know that prior to booking so no fault anywhere)

We were visiting Hershey and the location was excellent! Staff was very friendly and helpful; needed a recommendation for a restaurant, and extra towels. We really enjoyed access to hot coffee and tea at anytime and the pool was open late. One small ding was the fire pits (2) were not working because of a large group the weekend before, we bought stuff for smores. This in itself would not keep us from returning again as we had a wonderful time!

We were impressed by the cleanliness of our room and the hotel as a whole. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is nicely decorated and looks new. The staff was courteous and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was great. We liked the hot protein options the automated pancake maker, and the variety of cold options. Plenty there for a hearty breakfast. The breakfast area was very clean, and well stocked. The attendant was friendly and helpful. I even heard him offer to make more eggs for a couple who arrived 5 minutes before breakfast was over.

No complaints.

The breakfast was fantastic and the staff even better, saw two men took turns throughout the week. Both ran their butts off running that breakfast. Should have two people running the breakfast daily…Justin and Addrian took the time to say hello every morning and Addrian was so patient my grandson talked about him even on the way home.

I didn’t like the fact that there’s signs in elevator that says you would only get full room service every three days, and stayed six beds never made didn’t have to be changed daily but at least made up. People get short of help but just dropping of toilet paper, empty trash daily and can’t even run the vacuum doesn’t cut it.

The breakfast was fantastic. I loved that I was able to take what I needed back to my room. The food was great, and I loved that coffee was accessible all day long. I also loved that the hotel was brand new. Everything was clean and nice.

I thought that my linens would have been changed after the third day. The only thing that was really done each day was removal of garbage. It would also have been nice if the coffee pods were refreshed each day. Overall though, the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The microwave and large refrigerator were an excellent plus as well, especially for our extended stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Some sites classified it as 2-stars but it’s 3-stars. We stayed here mainly coz we have a dog and the Hershey hotels are not pet friendly. It’s a 10 min drive from the park, the room is large and comfortable, and the included breakfast is excellent. Some reviews pointed out the motel that shares the parking lot as a negative but honestly, we didn’t notice any shady characters or felt that it impacted our stay.

The room was very clean except for stains on the couch... but I imagine that happens when light colored fabrics are used and, in general, in a hotel. I know how sloppy my grandkids are so I can understand it happening

I am a gym rat so I was looking forward to the gym. If you're a person who does cardio... it great! Also good for some light lifting and modified exercises. It had two TVs and a water station plus towels. That was all nice. Although it was much better than many hotel gyms, I wished it had some barbells in addition to the dumbbells as well as two benches, instead of one. Even though I was in there at 5:10am, I had to share the bench when someone else came in at 5:30. Still overall pleased they had a gym and that it was better than MANY hotel gyms.
