Wonderful room. Clean, well decorated and comfortable. Great shower. Nice tv. I didn't try the restaurant but it was nice to have a full service one on site. The location is great. It's a really nice hotel all around.

The woman who twice (out of 3 calls) answered the front desk phone was incredibly dismissive. My refrigerator was not functional and on day one i asked that she get it replaced...I called 16 hours later and then again the following day (2nd call different person...3rd call was the same dismissive woman). It was finally replaced my last day. The fridge wasnt entirely the issue. Her attitude was. I felt like she thought I was asking for her do pushups or something. Still 3 days to replace it was ridiculous. The night time desk person was very polite and not at all a problem. I received no refunds or extras of any kind for my inconvenience..despite having to throw out the leftovers I had stored that 1st night when I didn't know it was broken.

While the check-in was a bit strange (the hotel is using a secondary check-in area instead of what was originally the main lobby... not really clear why?), the staff were all exceptionally friendly, and the hotel - while a bit worn - is kept very clean and was very comfortable. I fell asleep immediately in the comfy beds, and the down pillows and duvets are a nice touch. The AC/Heat worked well and was reasonably quiet, the windows could be opened for fresh air, and the vending machine wasn't trying to rip off the guests. I got the sense this hotel plays a major role in the local population - the ballroom was being used for a community event, and the restaurant drew a large, local crowd both nights. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant, but the buffet breakfast was ample and well made (two types of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, grits or oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, fruit, pastries, and bread!). The restaurant looks like it would be a bunch of fun in the summer/fall - there is a "tree house" in the Robin Hood-themed restaurant (which is surprisingly not over-the-top campy, but reasonably well done!) and lots of beers on tap. I'd come here again.

Still really baffled about the check-in. I was lucky as I accidentally drove to the correct entrance, but the people who checked in after me had been wandering around the hotel because they came in what used to be the main lobby, but which isn't being used right now. Not really a big deal, but I can see how some people could be annoyed by going to the wrong place.

location was great. hotel is older but clean and comfortable

when we arrived to check in there was a sign saying the desk clerk had been called to another area of the hotel. I waited more than 40 minutes! no exaggeration 40 minutes! the desk clerk came back obviously from lunch. I complained and he shrugged it off. I paid in cash and he attempted to give me all Pennie’s for my change. it was more than a handful and he did this with a smirk. Had we not just driven 8 hours we would not have stayed.

The room was very nice with ample space for the bedroom. The bathroom was a little tight and the ceiling was very low. Max, who I believe was a manager, was very accommodating to us. My friend was looking for a plate to use to reheat her leftover food from lunch. Max got her the plate and proceeded to collect some bags and items we had that were weighing us down and carried them to our rooms for us without any prompting from us. Everyone else at the hotel was very accommodating and friendly. The Loxley Restaurant was very interesting in its architecture and the food was very good. Our server Kahlil was also very nice.

Very cozy rooms and very clean. It was very quiet too. So we had a good rest. Felt like I was home. Beds were also comfy. Lots of open area to walk your dog around premises.

I did not realize it was a little drive away from Amish countryside. The area is more industrial looking near to a highway, that you can't see but you can hear outside only.

When I mentioed at check-in that we were there for Dutch Apple, we received 2 free tickets for breakfast buffet, which was very good. The room was comfortable and the hotel is convenient to the show.

No one came for room service. We discovered by accident that coffee was available in the front lobby. While the room we were assigned was quiet, we felt isolated from the other guests.

I haven't used the pool so I can't rate that but everything else has been great. My most recent stay was in June 2023.....if you go within the next few months don't be put off by the small check in area or slight disarray in a few spots since they are going through a renovation which I'm sure will turn out well.. The bar and restaurant are great as well

I have stayed a few times and have not had any issues

After we checked out, I noticed I left my glasses in the room I was staying. I spoke to the lady in front, short hair and shaved on the side, she was very rude to me. I know she was busy with people checking in. I was in a rush because I had called the cab and couldn't wait. She came out as if she wanted to fight. I was so annoyed I didn't want to go back with her to get my glasses. Everyone was so nice. My stay was excellent until she ruined it. Before this all happened, I mentioned to her how happy I was.

Very nice decor, clean and comfy. They provide lots of small touches: 6 packs of coffee in the room, a mini fridge with freezer, different types of pillows, alarm clock, etc. I arrived too late to have dinner in the beautiful restaurant, but the breakfast was really good, fresh, many selections.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. I usually find pillows in hotels flat and uncomfortable. These pillows were great and made for good sleeping. The restaurant on the property offered a great selection on their menu and the food and service was wonderful. Loved the Koi pond at the entrance of the restaurant.
