Holiday Inn Lancaster, an IHG Hotel

Location is great. Dining venue helpful. Parking garage works well.

Pillows are awful for an otherwise comfortable sleep. I wish staff at check in had not placed us, as a 5 day guest, across from the pool and fitness room

We enjoyed the Imperial Bar and restaurant being right there. The food, drinks, and restaurant staff were great. However, the greatest part about our stay was the hotel staff members, Katie and Jeff. Jeff was very empathetic to us arriving so late in an Uber after an all day plane ride, and was very patient with a few of our request. On a different day, I developed painful blisters on my foot and went to purchase Band-Aids from the small store in the hotel. Hotel staff member, Katie, let me know that no Band-Aids were available to purchase, but then she went above and beyond. She got out the medical kit for the staff and provided me with the much needed Band-Aids. The room and the hotel were average and acceptable. However, it was the kindness, compassion, and people-skills of Katie and Jeff that really made our stay exemplary!

$250 a night was unreasonable. We had just paid $200 a night at Embassy Suites for a FULL suite and outside balcony in Los Angeles, CA, which was over two times the size of the room at Holiday Inn, so the price for Holiday Inn was extremely overpriced.

It was a super convenient walk to the convention center in which I was attending an event. We did the max 4 guests for the hotel room we were in and split evenly it was quite moderately priced as well! Hotel staff were super nice, and the rooms were clean and spacious.

We had received 2 breakfast vouchers per day for the restaurant, but was not informed at check in that a reservation was needed to cash in those vouchers. We were turned away at the door, and the vouchers were then unusable. Otherwise, it was great!

Breakfast prices were very expensive. One example is the bagel with cream cheese, capers, onion prices at $17. About a block away you can find the same meal for $9. Dinner prices for both appetizers and main courses were about 1.5 x the same item prices at other nearby restaurants.

I use a cane when walking. As I needed to go to/from the convention center about three long blocks away, I asked about a shuttle. This hotel could not provide one. No cabs would pick anyone up for a three block trip.

Lobby was spacious and very nice. Staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was a good size, with a good view. Good location, you could walk to a lot of places or drive only 15 minutes to most places. The on-site restaurant was convenient with great staff and good food.

The bed was alittle uncomfortable and the pillows were flat, did not make for a good night sleep. The pool had so much chlorine in it that we couldn't go swimming and for the price they could have included breakfast and parking.

It was neat , clean and in good location. The restaurant was downstairs and the food was really good. I was a little concern about the parking, but parking was across the hotel for $15 fee per day and the do the parking arrangements in the reception. The neighborhood was nice you may encounter a few homeless people, but they don’t bother.

I like that it included breakfast buffet or a la carte which makes it very convenience. The rooms were cleaned

The hotel had a fitness center and pool. There were lounge chairs and tables set around the main level. The location was perfect and allowed us to walk around without trying to find parking.

There was leftover food found in our room (near the window). The bathroom tub was peeling. We were on the 4th floor, this is not their fault, but we had kids coming around and knocking on our doors at night. By the time I fell asleep, the sounds of the cars driving by were louder than I expected.

We were staying for the local anime convention, Zenkaikon. The location of the hotel was great, being only a few blocks from the convention center. There were also many places to eat and shop within walking distance. We booked a suite, and the room was much larger than I expected and very spacious.

During our stay we didn't have anyone come for housekeeping, but it's understandable that they may have been short staffed due to covid. We also didn't specifically request housekeeping, but the hotel staff were more than helpful with giving us anything we needed like towels, etc.

We enjoyed an excellent breakfast at the Imperial Restaurant. The staff was all friendly. The location was perfect for our plans and we walked everywhere. The bartender was great fun and we enjoyed her very much. The staff was also helpful in giving us directions to places we wanted to visit.

Our room's view was not the prettiest, but we pretty much only slept there and so it really didn't matter. The excellent location more than made up for it. The bar closed early but the Bistro across the street had later hours so if you wanted a nightcap it was only a few feet away.
