Wyndham Garden York

The room and bed are very large. The staff is very polite and friendly. The hotel is in a great location away from the hustle and bustle of Route 30. We enjoyed the convience of having breakfast at this location.

We stayed here for two weeks so we had a chance to see the best and worst the hotel has to offer. Fortunately, there were not "worse" to call out on. The exercise room was very limited. There were only two treadmills which forced us to wait for our turns multiple times during our stay. It's a large hotel so there's bound to be a few people working out. If they can add a third treadmill, it might make a difference. There's plenty of room in the hotel to relocate the fitness room if necessary. Also, the Friday night crowd tend to leave trash around the entrance doors (beer cans, etc...) but the staff did clean it up during their regular rounds. Just a minor safety awareness issue.

I like being able to go out my room to the pool. I didn’t like having to search for elevator I would’ve went to get breakfast started earlier on the weekends. The check-in was kind of slow. There was a line. I think there should’ve been another representative at the front desk. When we came in to keep people moving special we came in kind of late at night, and we were looking to grab a bite to eat and then turn in. Was hoping the grill was open too. But the overall stay with pretty nice, and then to find out you didn’t have to go back on the highway to get to the gas station and shopping plaza was a plus.

Having to wait in a line to check in. Having to walk a good distance to get to my room from where the elevators were also having to park close to my room, but I have to take my luggage upstairs. There wasn’t elevators that were very close to my room and I would wish to breakfast was earlier on the weekend and the grill and pool stayed open a little later.

Staff very courteous and accommodating. Room seemed clean and beds were very comfortable Breakfast area very nice and breakfast offering was simple but appreciated and well displayed ~ good coffee

Billing CC on arrival and billing CC again on departure It used to be that you got billed on the last night (or night) of a stay and the bill was placed under the door. Confusing and concerning to see my CC was twice billed and at different amounts both times. Room faced a center court yard, was very loud until pool closed. Bright lighting still got under darkening curtains affecting ability to sleep some. Would simply ask for room on the outside perimeter next time. Light sleeper.

The location was good and private, the pool area was nice and the breakfast was good.

Staff's attitude wasn't the greatest housekeeping was banging on my door I told them "I was coming" She said you should have answered the first time so I didn't have to knock A second time. There was A really unprofessional staff that worked in the breakfast area she was rude as hell she wasn't only rude to us I watched her unprofessional attitude with other guests also

Room was nice and clean, The king size bed and pillows were awesome, Slept like a baby!!! The breakfast was really good. And the coffee ahhhh really tasty.

I didn’t get to use the pool. Was a little worried because the water was not clear, it was very cloudy so much I couldn’t see anything inside the pool and the smell of chlorine was very strong. Maybe they can monitor and balance the chlorine and PH levels.

Front desk folks were ok. They didn't go overboard on information. Housekeeping staff was so nice and did a superb job with the rooms and they were very pleasant. The shower was amazing! Plenty of hot water! Loved the lotions and hair products that were there for my use. Loved the waffle station and met some of the nicest people staying there!

Lack of information provided at check-in. Didn't care for the selection of TV channels. Hard to figure out the AC/Heating unit. I finally found a remote control on the windows sill.

Nice hotel. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again.

Loud party next door on our final night. Noise off and on from about 10pm to after 1am. I finally called the front desk. They took it seriously. Noise did stop soon--not sure if it was from front desk doing something or that the party disbanded. (I could hear some people saying goodbye to others.) Not really the hotel's fault. Just was a bad last night.

the property is big and the room is spacious and clean. There’s very nice countryside yard for hangout and a nice indoor public space with a pool. breakfast is good and has a lot of variety. staffs are very nice.

When I checked out, I had a question about the price because there’s a price difference than price I booked on Booking.com. the front desk lady was a bit annoyed, kept telling me you gotta call Booking.com for any price problem, the hotel doesn’t charge me and will not provide receipt. I kept asking is there a deposit charge because that’s usually the reason. and then she finally told me there’s a $25 resort fee and will be refund back to my card after checkout. with the $25, the price matched. wish she had told me in the beginning… could have saved us some time. but overall, I am very satisfied with the my stay and will recommend to others.

We were in town for a Swim Meet and this hotel was awesome. My 7 year old daughter said it was the "best hotel ever". The courtyard and pool were wonderful. Our room was perfect for the 2 of us. We got desert feom the hotel restaurant to take back to the room, which was delicious. Breakfast was great. Love the lodge feeling of the hotel. The staff at the front desk were absolutely wonderful & friendly! Overall, we would had an awesome stay and would most definitely stay again!

Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful and personable.

A few times housekeeping knocked on our door to clean the room before 10 am. once it was at 845. with breakfast only over at 0930 we thought it would have been better to wait to clean until after 1030 or 11. we were touring in the area several days so the room didn't need a complete change.
