Best Western Plus Austin Central

Location, ok for a guy but if a ladies' on her own would not venture outside of hotel at night. Best get cab or be with some guys no disrespect to you ladies. . Front desk staff Great!! helped in every way to make my stay enjoyable. Great parking had car and trailer plenty of room to park. Would stay at this location again. Thank you

Breakfast very poor. First day only egg and sausage. Second day egg sausage potato. Third day egg ham potato. What happed to the bacon? No sign to say please wear gloves before getting breakfast. Staff in breakfast room Friday morning had a bad attuited almost like it was to much for her to have a smile. If she is tired of saying wear gloves then make a big sign and place it before the breakfast area not wait till we are getting breakfast then get upset because we do not have gloves on!! Shame really one of the main reasons I went with Best Western is for the Breakfast included. Why is the breakfast staff allowed to be eating in the breakfast area were the food is located when patrons are trying to get breakfast? Strange but true.

Breakfast was convenient and on time every morning! I had to be up early to prepare for my day/meetings and it was a pleasure being able to start off having my fresh coffee with my choice of breakfast before starting my day.

I would have liked it colder in the room given the temperature during my stay was in the high 90's low 100's. It did get a bit warm in the room. Maybe a larger variety of snacks to choose from by check-in...although you did have some great ones I guess I was looking for a little something extra :-) and I didn't want to leave the hotel late at night.

The staff was so nice, and helpful!! Smiling faces every time we interacted with ANY of the staff. The people at the front desk at check in and especially at checkout truly went above and beyond for us!

If im being honest there wasnt anything we didnt like that was directly related to the staff or hotel specifically. The hotel sits between two very sketchy motels, BUT the BW property itself was superb and we felt so safe that we forgot about the sketchy hotels. The eggs at breakfast were watery and the potato and chorizo was super spicy. Lol but the ladies serving breakfast were wonderful!

I was pleased that a hot breakfast was provided. Variety of breakfast foods provided. We also liked that a breakfast area was available to sit down and eat our breakfast. Televisions available to watch the news or sports etc.

The closet door in our room. It had enough room but the clothes hangars needed to be turned at an angle for the doors to completely close. It seems the depth of the closet was slightly smaller than the clothes hangars. Other than that item we were satisfied with our room.

The beds were comfy, good water pressure, staff was very friendly and helpful. Plentiful parking, great breakfast, and fun social gathering. Staff helped carry up luggage night of arrival.

The room smelled a little musty and loud people across the hall. The elevator was out of order the evening of arrival.

The breakfast was okay. The bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean.

Didn't like that the side entrance wasn't available for entry and if entered on the 1st floor the elevators was out of order. I thought this was a 100% smoke-free hotel. 5th floor smelled like skunk weed, the whole weekend. The walls were so thin. I could hear ppl on both sides of me. The fridge had a snoring sound all the time. The doorway to the room is so narrow, we could barely get the luggage cart through the doorway. Shower had very low press and sink was too low, I felt like a giant washing my hands.I have trouble walking sometimes and was not offered anything closer to ground. The carpets need cleaning especially the high traffic areas and floor hallways.

The breakfast was excellent. It is more or less that of a buffet with several choices to decide on and never running out of anything.

Ice machines have a problem keeping up with the demand. Probably because several of them did not work

Didn't have bedside lights at both sides of the beds. Bathroom only had shampoo etc for 1 person when we had booked a room for 3 of us

Break fast is always good, we have different job sites in different areas but we like the location. the staff if friendly. cleaning ladies are always polite.

the wifi its not great, sometimes it freezes my computer for a while while working. its good to send emails and do invoices, estimates etc.. but for a long period of times it disconnects automatically

Breakfast was great, price is a good deal for an overnight stay and close to the hospital where we have our doctor's appointment. Overall, it was a great stay.

we can hear the doors closing outside or at the hallway, but it's not too bad, I guess it's the structure of the building.
