I enjoyed the Happy hour that was provided. Free alcohol and also a good variety of snacks to complement the beverages. The vibe was good and the workers were polite and friendly... I would definitely come back here again .

Well when I checked in the clerk charged me double for the deposit. It showed that I was charged twice for the deposit, and I was assured that it would be credited back to my account once I checked out.. It was an honest mistake so hopefully I will have all that charged incorrectly fully refunded. Also having the drain for the a.c. drip from the ceiling into the tub was annoying. We literally had to close the door for the bathroom to block out the noise..

The breakfast was by far amazing, fresh food, perfect hot meals, cold drinks. Our room was very clean, cozy very well maintained facility.. Hotel staff and kitchen attendees were wonderful, very helpful and polite super excellent service, swimming area hot tub were very soothing they were fully stocked on towels! Gym area was very spacious, clean and came in handy. Also very comfy beds with private area! This is definitely a pleasant place for a family get away or just a night away from home with your spouse!! We sure will be staying here in the near future!!!

TV channels would have been nice, despite the no channels everything else was amazing about this hotel!!

Came down for SXSW. Perfect location to all the festivities (about 10-15 mins from all the action, even with all the event traffic). Price was reasonable for the special tourist weekend. LOVED the bar (they gave free happy hour drink vouchers)! LOVED the breakfast arrangements (definitely sets the bar high with continental styled breakfast) get down there early it gets busy and packed quick. Room (suite) was perfectly sized for a family of 4, everyone had space. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure and temp was just right. Room service was decent, I hate paying for room service, though.

Disliked hardly anything. If I was to nit-pick, didn't like paying to park (but it was less than $25 for two nights, so not really complaining, I've paid worst). Also the candy in the snack shop was like $4...that was crazy but typical for a hotel concession store or something you would see at an airport. So I suggest that folks go to the gas station down the street for your late night snacks. Other than that, nothing much to complain about. Just needed a place to lay my head after walking around SXSW, that wouldn't have cost an arm, leg, and two toes or left us with any little buggy friends. Got more than expected, LOVED our stay!

Such a perfect stay! The staff was always so nice and helpful. Breakfast and happy hour were excellent and really made our stay memorable. We had quite a lot planned while we were visiting Austin, and needed quite a bit of rest between activities. We felt so comfortable and well-rested after our stay. Would definitely recommend and return!

The stay was very affordable and in a nice, safe location, but I was a little far away from most of our activities. Would still recommend for someone that doesn’t mind a little bit of a commute into the city.

Breakfast was incredible for a free hotel breakfast. So many choices. Lots of room so even when it was crowded you felt ok. We were staying here because our power was out and our house was 40 degrees. This hotel really saved us. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and kind. Couldn’t recommend enough.

The hotel is pretty old, so you should expect some small details that go along with its age. Not that I didn’t like it, but some people don’t like aged things.

Easy access from highway with friendly staff and contactless check-in and key. Wonderful bright and airy lobby area with lots of seating. Nice sized suite with two separate rooms, comfortable with lots of amenities (even microwave included too). Also had complimentary drinks for happy hour daily. Breakfast was nice, particularly the freshly made omelettes to order. Good value for money for what was offered, and only 10min drive from Downtown.

Brand reputation and location

The manager reception not customer service first. Immediately upon arrival one of the 2 servers saw my coupon and told me “coupon users need to stand over there” and when I said I was looking to see what draft beers they had she said my coupon is only for the Budweiser products and pointed me to the one coupon server, because she could only serve paying customers. Really made to feel like I was a third class citizen. The breakfast team was great. Stayed a few months earlier at the Arboretum location and completely different experience.Although location was better for my trip purpose at Central I suspect I will choose Arboretum for future visits.

Fabulous!! Especially loved the omelette bar...and you even provided hot sauce! There were so many choices and we thought the food was very good. The bed was soooo comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The temperature in the room was very good and the AC did NOT make noise, as it does in some hotel rooms.

The options for fresh fruit on the breakfast bar were minimal. All you had were whole apples and oranges. There were no bananas or fresh cut fruit. The only complaint about the room is that the light in the front room did not work. It was the only light source except for a table lamp. We would have called about it but we didn't spend much time in that room.

Breakfast was good. Quality and finishes were better than expected.

Location was not good. Looked like blighted area, and entering and exiting the property was very painful. What is still really irritating: Booking quoted total price, including taxes of $138.41. Embassy Suites charged me $197.73, and despite two calls (including extended hold time), they still have not issued the credit for the difference, even though they told me on Monday (the day I checked out) that they already caught the error and issued a credit. That was a lie, I will wait until tomorrow, and if I don't receive the credit, I will dispute the charge, and let them deal with my credit card company, Chase.

The Quality of Beds, Breakfast, Staff willingness to assist, assist and with kindess that superseded the word impressive! The trouble I had was corrected with so much authentic helpfulness, from both a female and male administrator, that I couldn't thank or respect you companies true selflessness enough with just words!

3rd Party miss communication caused extreme anxiety for family with Retired AirFoce Vet, 13yr old,15 yr old playing in 2day volleyball tournament with family and scouts. Honestly first male administrator did his job but used 3rd as excuse for error instead of trying fix problem. The second administrator, female, Did an exemplary job finding reservation, adamantly lisening to sequence of events and confusion. She then assisted by finding best priced available room, then processed and completed extra satisfactory sell. Also you could do us (New Travelers) a favor that no other hotel or car rental service is human enough to provide us wth: The price + Required deposit. We are coming, I swear, but don't let the deposit info (Full Price) catch us ending up hating you!
