DoubleTree by Hilton Austin Northwest - Arboretum

The Hotel has a very convenient location for us when we visit Austin. There is always adequate parking. The rooms are super clean and well kept. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They even provided an in room safe for belongings. There were plenty of outlets for our electronic devices. We will certainly stay here again when we visit relatives.

The WiFi disconnected all the time. It did not reconnect automatically. The coffee maker in the lobby was out of order. A Microwave has always been available upon request but this time the receptionist at the front desk said it was no longer an option. We stayed for 5 nights. We were not offered their signature cookies when we checked in this time. There was a small coffee maker in the room that we chose not to use.

Starting from when I arrived, the cookies for each of us was awesome! It's a little thing but a nice touch all the same. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was beyond expectations since I'm used to cheap motels and basic continental breakfast. I wish we would've had more time to enjoy it.

Having a refrigerator would have been nice. The toilet in my bathroom kept running which changed water pressure and temperature in the shower constantly. And while I liked the view of looking down into the hotel, talking from the bar carried up to my 3rd floor room which was a little distracting but nothing I couldn't tune out once I realized what it was.

This was a very quiet, comfortable place to stay. The staff was very accommodating and we enjoyed our conversations with Erica, the bar person, who also provided directions to certain restaurants in the area.

The name of the property is deceiving as it is not at the Arboretum. It is close by, but in a place difficult to access if you are not familiar with the area.

It would have been perfect except for I thought I would be able to park in there parking lot but you can't unless you pay and it's expensive everything added up there was crazy most nice and cheep hotels provided at least minimum breakfast they say breakfast will be in the morning and give you the time but don't tell you you have to pay for that too

The property is very close to the interstate exit so it is easy on and easy off. The hotel is located within five minutes of where our son lives so we always stray here. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The delicious Doubletree cookies were an added treat after a long drive. The price is right also.

I would have appreciated having a microwave in the room.

Second time staying here and didn't like having to pay for parking which was new. No fridge in the room where I could keep my water for my extended stay (four nights). A/C was not working well. It remained stuffy in my room.

Nice room until the AC went out second day but there was problem with waterline leaking next door but maintenance was quick to fix it after a few hours… Overall it was nice stay, beds were comfortable and rooms and pool were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Not in safest area with so many homeless downtown and only a few blocks away, but that’s pretty much everywhere downtown Austin …

AC going out one day was really our only problem

It was close by the event I was going to, in quiet and nice area but close enough to main road

Mix up with the prices, it was one price on booking, than much more when I was paying......don't think it was about the Tax....

The hotel is lovely - great location. it is not a new property, but we’ll maintained (except for the A/C). The Manager & the Maintenance man we exceptional…

We were in 3-different rooms - in the first two…the a/c didn’t work. In the 3rd it was good.
