Hyatt Place Austin Arboretum Domain Area

Our stay at this hotel was a last minute decision due to an unexpected family medical emergency. Due to the nature of the illness we weren’t sure how long we would need the room. We were able to book an additional day with the option to cancel it at no charge by midday the prior day which provided tremendous comfort. The breakfast was very good. Because our group consisted of different ages, it was nice that there was a variety of items to choose from and the hot items were continuously refilled. Also they were NOT in a rush to shut down the buffet. At another hotel we stayed at on this trip, they were shutting down their breakfast 30 minute before the advertised end time which was disappointing.

Most of the staff were very nice. The hotel was clean and modern. The room was big. We like staying at Hyatt.

I had asked for a room farther away from the elevator when booking. We were literally put right next to the elevator. Of course, maybe they didn’t have another option, which would be completely understandable, but maybe they could have let us know. Low light for getting ready.

I loved that you all offered breakfast. The breakfast was great and there was plenty to choose from. The breakfast, the pool and the location made our stay totally worth it!

I was a little surprised that there was no microwave in the room. I did use the one downstairs but this seemed like a hotel that would have a microwave in the room. 🤷🏽

Room was a good size with a very comfortable bed, plenty of sockets for plugging in appliances and a socket with USB points. Staff were very friendly and quick to rectify any problems.

We asked for room service daily and this wasn’t carried out which meant the bins were full and towels and toilet paper were not replaced, however, staff were very quick to rectify this.

I really like how friendly the staff was and how they made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in.. I didn't catch the guy or the ladies name that checked us in but they were awesome!! Will definitely go back no doubt about it!

I did not like the view that my room had we were on the 6th floor looking at a parking garage 😩 would have been better to be able to see the city but other than that our stay was close to perfect

Room and daily housekeeping were very good. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

Inconvenient location.....no desirable walkable restaurants, bars, shopping. We were without a car every evening, and did not really enjoy our free time at this location.

It was perfect for Austin City Limits. There's free parking and complimentary breakfast every morning and it was really high quality. They even had gluten free bagels. Rooms are clean and spacious and beds were comfortable. Will definitely stay here again if we're ever back in Austin.

The breakfast was great and the rooms had everything you would need from a fridge to a pull out sofa bed. We traveled with our 5 year old and got in late. They checked us into our room quickly and having the food available 24/7 was great because we were able to order a pizza.

The staff not knowledgeable about what they are charging customers and then when asked about it they accuse you and f being wrong and still was charged after they said wouldn’t be.

Breakfast was a nice touch! Shower was good, soap, shampoo nice as well. Service up front was good and additional snacks and drinks were also a positive.

Didn’t have NetFlix, other no issues
