Day one, the check in guy was super nice. Had a small conversation and it really helped after being on the road for a while. Then the room itself is fantastic. It's spacious enough for the two people we had, came with its own little kitchen so you could make food if you wanted, and is right next to South Congress. That street (if you haven't been here before) is a VERY popular street and can take you straight into downtown Austin. In my opinion, I like to stay within arms reach of a city so I don't have to worry about things like city parking or things like that. Here, its nice and secluded so where you don't have to worry about parking and the area is pretty quiet so you don't have to worry about being woken up by loud cars or traffic. I just think it's a really good spot and a really nice place to be if you're visiting Austin but don't want to be directly downtown.

Simply put, I'm just upset I couldn't stay longer! There was one small thing though and it was simply that our door wouldn't close all the way. So you had to give it a little extra shove. So that's all I could think of.

The staff service was excellent, and the rooms were large, well-equipped, and comfortable. There was plenty of room for storage, and the kitchen area was ideal for our needs. We've stayed at three different hotels for one week in this area for the same activity over the past three years, and this hotel was BY FAR the best of the ones we stayed at. We've finally found the hotel where we can stay for future trips.

The breakfast was okay, but it was the weakest of the offerings. The waffles were good, but they were out of things several times, including cereal, milk, and orange juice. They could also have a bit more variety, but the value was decent.

Overall had a great stay and would stay again! The lobby is very nice, staff were accommodating and helpful for ideas of what to do in Austin. We had our 2 year old daughter w us and used their pack and play which was nice and the room was spacious w a pretty full kitchen.

There are a few small tweaks that could be made to make this a 10. First, the pool area is super lacking.. the pool is tiny, which is fine w me really, but there were NO shade options and only 2 towels put out. My daughter and I splashed around a bit but with no umbrellas for shade options in the 106 degrees.. we had to get out of there before we burned! Also, the black out curtains need to be about 6 inches longer all around. The outside light at night made it where we could not get the room totally dark, and as soon as the sun came up sun was coming under the shades.. just very poor design. This is critical with a baby!! The second night we had to move her pack n play to the bathroom (good thing it was big enough)

The woman at the concierge desk (during the day shift) was amazing; super friendly, positive and effective. The breakfast was great; most hotels offer day old muffins and yogurt. This was a full, hot meal each day with lots of choices and a waffle bar with Texas shaped waffles. The room was spacious, well furnished and modern. The bed was comfortable and the bedding seemed fresh and clean. Kitchenette came stocked with a few pans, silverware and dishes. We didn't use the kitchen, but we were impressed with how well set up it was. If someone has a long stay, this place would be perfect.

The front desk staff was not very friendly or accommodating. On our check-in, the front desk greeter said she could not find my reservation without a confirmation # because we did not have the Marriott confirmation #. I had to insist that she researched using my name and she almost refused, but after a while she found us. She was not too polite. I recommend that Booking.com includes the hotel chain confirmation #, so this never happens again. In the room, the location of the TV made the stay uncomfortable - we keep bumping with the TV - it was shoulders' level.

It was nice to have a full kitchen (except for an oven, which no one wants in a Texas summer). The room was well laid out, clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

The only downside: the place can be tough to find. Several businesses, including another hotel and a huge movie theater, are in a large commercial area, and share the same address, all connected by windy, twisty access roads, and the Towne Suites are sort of tucked away in a corner. We had trouble finding it, and so did a friend, and a pizza delivery driver. Some better signposting would be an improvement.

Breakfast is the only reason I didn’t give this place a 10. It was very skimpy and they ran out of scrambled eggs both days. Also ran out of coffee the second day. Very few (none) non- carb options when they don’t have eggs. No fruit except raisins for the oatmeal. Otherwise though the place was great we had a beautiful and spacious room with a stovetop, sink, toaster, dishwasher. Really nice set up. Comfy beds and nice sheets! Good water pressure in the shower. They even had a few board games available at the desk, which was nice because weather was awful.

The hotel was great. Booking.com took my $$ but never booked the reservation for me. I was on business and stayed five nights. I had to pay at the property and everyone is blaming the other party. No refund. NOTHING> I paid an additiona 700 dollars to stay there. And what do I do to handle this problem? UNBELIEVABLE. Now I stay at a competing property next door. Stupid reaction to a loyal customer.

Front desk manager tried to help me. She called Booking.com. She called corporate. NO ONE WOULD DO ANYTHING.

My check in was amazing experience. The shuttle was perfect couldn't as for anyone better to help me through the journey. I was extremely pleased with the room and how clean it was. The food and wine was up to standard I had absolutely no complaints. I stayed there twice and will definitely be rebooking when I travel through again.

I had no complaints what so ever about this hotel. I enjoyed everything they offered and the customer service was up to standard. I wish I could find something for improvement but at this visit I had nothing.

Is was beyond what I expected, the room has a beautiful smell when we walked in. Everything was clean, spacious! Front desk clerk was super friendly!

How to get to hotel was a little confusing at first but nothing that would stop me from going there!
