Liked it room needed some extra touches 1. Shower head has button all the way at the top in wheelchair or using a walker one would not be able to reach Please place it at sitting level. 2. No booklet for channels for TV or stationary for taking notes no booklet to share of city and places to eat or enjoy. 3. Freezer in ice box needs attention 4. Sitting chairs in room at table are very uncomfortable. 5. Bath mat needed for inside of shower, accident waiting to happen 6. Pool needs cleaning 7. Lighting in room needs to be brighter

I was in Bastrop Texas to participate in the Corvette Invasion. Having registered late the sponsor hotel was booked up. I then called another hotel close to the sponsor hotel. They were going to charge me an outlandish price so I chose the Best Western as the next closest hotel. The rate was extremely reasonable, especially for the service they offered and I received. I highly recommend this location when staying in Bastrop.

Move the smoker's area further away from the main entrance

I had a late-night reservation because I had to commute a few hours home after a 1 am landing at the Austin airport and wanted a place to rest. The staff was super accommodating, making sure I had a room ready, offering a late checkout, etc. Perfect stop for a very weary traveler. The bed was comfortable, the room was dark and quiet and I slept great. Every staff member I encountered was friendly. I usually don't leave reviews but I had a really good experience.

The location is the main reason. Very close to my daughter's house.

I booked a handicap accessible room specifically to have a handheld shower head. While the room was equipped with a handheld shower. It did not function. The night staff was not able to repair it. It was an inconvenience for me, but if a wheelchair bound individual was given that room it would have been impossible for them to operate that shower in its current configuration.

There was mainly only one thing that I did not like. During my last morning, me and my daughter were getting ready to leave in the restroom and noticed a roach on the mirror. It wasn’t a big one which was concerning. It was in between a baby and an adult size. That was the only one that we noticed but it was still a cause for concern a little bit.

Everything was clean. We had a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee or in the room. Beds were so comfortable. Pool and hot tub were great. Everyone was friendly.

No area to sit outside that wasn't by the pool area, and we were told we couldn't sit in that seating after 10 p m . There needs to be somewhere for guests to sit if they choose to The only ice machine is on the bottom floor, which is inconvenient. Breakfast was ok, however, it would be nice to have toasting options, such as bagels or pastries. Jelly and cream cheese for toasted items would also be a great option.

Everyone on staff went above & beyond to have a servant’s heart & serve. Excellent customer service skills by Austin at the front desk & the entire staff. Clean facilities & nice breakfast. Coffee out of machine is fresh, & good quality coffee. Pool & hot tub were amazing. Best hot tub I’ve ever been in. Temperature was spot on. Peaceful, quiet environment & yet close to stores & restaurants. Comfy beds & pillows. Felt comfortable, safe & secure. Great place to come & relax. I will definitely be staying here again.

Would rather there have been a vending machine for snacks instead of snacks being charged to our room from the hotel food pantry.

Front end staff are positive and quite frankly entertaining. Professional and a good attitude. They also sent my sweater back to me via the fedex label I emailed to them that my daughter left. Accommodating and very kind to expedite this.

The property was very nice. I liked that it was offset a bit from the hustle and bustle of the major shopping zones but still close enough to make a quick trip to the Walmart in case you forgot to pack something like we did. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the room was clean. Breakfast in the morning was a huge plus.
