Comfort Suites Bastrop

I love how nice everyone is, the atmosphere of this place, love the breakfast it’s not a lot but it’s makes a nice vacation morning start, we love how accessible stores and restaurants are. Taco Bell McDonald’s are right next to it, Walgreens right in front.

There is remodeling going on but we don’t mind it. Some people might but we know there’s better things coming and we’re excited to see the new rooms soon

Love the location. Love the staff. Love the rooms and how big they are. Breakfast was good. We have been here 2 times now the past 2-3 months and planning a 3rd trip here… any way we can get a discount? Can’t hurt to ask!

Parking is limited due to the renovations they are doing they have big containers in a lot of the parking spaces.

The breakfast was nice , good selections, OJ machine out of order. Located off of the highway which makes it much quieter, no road noise. Staff was gracious and very helpful.

Landscape needed attention. Remove construction material from the front of the building. Require construction crew to wait until 8AM before starting work.

The room was nice and clean when we arrived. We had to suddenly make reservations and this was great. The breakfast was awesome.

The tub didn't drain, the pool was green and not open while we were there. We asked for a towel change and for the drain to be snaked, but it didn't happen. We stayed for 3 nights and really needed clean towels that last day. We ended up using our towels we brought.

The breakfast was only adequate. Too many carbohydrates in every choice they had. Would have loved to have eggs on the menu again. When are we going to get back to regular breakfasts at hotels? I think they are all using COVID for an excuse not to have to do full service any more.

The breakfast. Having to be moved from the night before because the other room couldn't get hot water in the shower. It needed to have maintenance and they did not have a maintenance person coming in that day. The second room was OK.

Just a great place to stay.. great staff working there..especially Christina...very very clean, well lit parking, great breakfast, whatever you need within 5 minutes from hotel...especially Billy's bbq right up the street.

Staff at front desk was friendly .

When we arrived I looked for blankets pillows and linens for the pull out sofa. There were none in the room I went and requested them at the Front desk along with towels that were only two and we were party of three. I was told at the time that they didn’t have no towels available because they were all requested by other guests. This hotel should be furnished with enough linens pillows towels etc. to supply the guests that are staying in each room.

The room was very nice and clean.

During breakfast, I asked the hotelie where the trash can was at. I hadn’t realized that I was almost next to it. They kindly pointed to it. What I didn’t like was that the hotelie and one of the cleaning crew who were side by side in conversation, clearly saw that the trash was over flowing and did nothing about it. No initiative. And the dining room was dirty.

The hotel was nice, clean, and quiet. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The property is conveniently located to shopping areas and the highway which worked well for this trip.

great place overall. nice staff, good location great place!

parking isn’t great. some in from and on sides but if you had lots of stuff like i did it’s not very convenient
