Super 8 by Wyndham Bastrop TX

It was very nice and quiet in the evening time with not a lot of excessive noise. We did enjoy our stay. It was an emergency situation as our air conditioner had gone out in our home. It was nice to come to a motel that had a nice cold air conditioner in the room. There are things that definitely need to be paid more attention to from the cleaning crew at this location. Only reason why I noticed this is because I have a cleaning business of my own.

The rooms need to be paid attention to more regarding cleanliness. There are cobwebs. Bugs. Coffee pots need to be checked and cleaned. Refrigerators need to be wiped out. And the bathtubs need to be made sure that there are no previous guess hair on the walls of the shower/shower curtain/drains. Floors in the bathroom need to be swept better for bugs and hairs from previous guests.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. They made it effortless to check in with my Booking.com reservation. The pool was available and clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and cool.

The floors were dirty in the room so we couldn't walk barefoot. When I did, I would have to wash my feet before putting on my shoes. The pillows need to be replaced with some that have just a little more cushioning.

The breakfast wasn’t available due to lack of staffing.( Nobody seems to want to work in these times that we live in.) The staff who were there were so friendly and accommodating. I was unable to unlock from smoking to nonsmoking, issue with the booking site. Because they had no rooms left in nonsmoking I was forced to a smoking room our first night but upon asking the second night we were able to move to a non smoking room.

I didn't see any breakfast

I booked a room with a 3 party when I checked in he said you have a smoking room. I said no I booked a non smoking room. He made it happen. Gabe me a non smoking room.

The room was HUGE and quite comfortable. Very clean and well made-up. The desk person(s) were really very nice.

The maid came banging on my door — TWICE — despite the “do not disturb” sign. A full hour before check out.

I stay at Super 8 all the time and they are all very comfortable. Super 8 Bastrop’s t.v. game is on point though! Super 8 Waco, take notice.

The plugs were loose and didn't work well--for both the lamps and the chargers. Also, the bathtub was dirty. Otherwise everything was great.

The bed was comfortable.

There were a few things that needed to be fixed. The shower rod was loose and the plug for the coffee pot and hair dryer wouldn’t work.

Management was super. Comfortable bed. Friendly helpful staff.

Reason I needed a room

The bed was very comfortable. We wanted to get in the hot tub but understand its closed due to covid19.

The shower faucet needs to be replaced in room 120. The knob is black probably from years of moisture and the faucet itself is about to break off the wall.
