Embassy Suites by Hilton Houston-Energy Corridor

I really enjoy staying at this hotel my husband and I usually stay here at least 4-6 times a year. We always have a wonderful experience while staying here the people are all amazing Yolanda, TJ, Ari all the chefs are always amazing. I do believe Megan is fairly new face but she was nice and pleasant as well. I feel like we are a family when I come visit literally we just catch back on things from the previous visit. We are travelers and I recommend this hotel Hiltons of Americas, Marriott Marque don't compare overly priced and overrated.

However we tried to come in May 2023 which was our anniversary and noticed the bar was under construction meaning we wasn't able to enjoy that experience. We were then asked to go to the other location near by but they didn't have a jacuzzi which was a bomber. Also I would recommend putting a key badge access on the back door exit to the parking structure. Also making sure the trash is dumped near that area it had a very unpleasant smell and the doors where just semi open not very safe.

Outstanding service, Megan on the front counter was fantastic.

Hotel was beautiful and spotless clean, breakfast was fantastic (real food and a great selection). Location was perfect!!

The person who checked us in needed training in customer relations….no welcome greeting, no smiles, no mention of anything about the hotel facilities, parking, restaurant or bar. We had to ask about breakfast times and directions to the lift after she gave us our room key! Also no parting comment like “enjoy your stay”…. Definitely not someone you should have front of house representing your business because first impressions really do count!! I will just say this was one girl out of three and listening to the others work they were great so although it wasn’t expected or pleasant I suppose everyone is entitled to an off day??

Well appointed for the money. Breakfast had a good range and they would make some items for you. Having a bar on site was good for drinks and casual meals. Evening meal we had there exceeded our expectations as to quality. Free (limited) drinks and snacks each evening at the bar for an hour or so.

Really only the location which was not close to anywhere but that is Houston where everything seems to be far away from anywhere. Not much to view if you have a walk around the area. There are some options in walking distance.

The breakfast was nice and the trays were helpful so I could take breakfast back to the room. The staff was helpful but the front desk was often unoccupied. I assume due to low staffing.

The whole "we only clean your room on the 5th day" and "we will do a refresh if you ask a day in advance" really sucks. Also, even though our room was as far from the elevators as you could get, we could still hear a very loud "whooshing" sound in the ceiling from the elevators. Also, there were very loud guests until about 11pm and then again at 3am. We called security and after about 30 minutes (each time) the guests quieted down. Lastly, the bathroom lighting was bad so my wife had to wait to do her makeup in the car with sun light.

1) loved: breakfast (amazing!) not like other hotels where they just serve box cereals and bulks of egg & sausage… this was like a restaurant style. wow. I was surprised! 2) the room: wow.. big. we got double queens but to our surprise there was a mini living room area. wow. nice.

yikes: 1) the tub… still had hairs from previous guests. yuck. 2)tv controls: out of battery, so we didn’t watch tv… instead looked at our phones. I didn’t get to use the pool nor jacuzzi(timing) but I hope I do next time… that’s the reason we booked this hotel. my husband was complaining that it was too far from Houston downtown.., like 15 miles. 3) the parking garage… I heard that people break-in your vehicle If it’s not parked on the left side where you have cameras… luckily for us… we found 1 spot.

The asst manager Yolonda was the energy of the Hotel. Pleasant, friendly and full of energy. Young lady Joy was very nice and polite. Overall we had a amazing experience @ this hotel. I highly recommend this place to stay anytime in Houston.

Couple interactions at the Bar with the staff wasn't pleasant. I witnessed a Bartender go back and forth with a guest, raising her voice and being rude. I had a interaction with a bartender and she was very short. They need to a mile more over there. Maybe Yolonda and Joy can teach service service with a smile.

Everything about the hotel was PERFECT. The hotel front desk staff Yolanda was the BEST like literally she deserves a golden Star!! Not only did she treat us right every guest walk that hotel she made sure they had everything they needed plus more! Made sure every one was pleased with the service that they provide at the hotel. She went above and beyond and the way she carry herself I just know that her act of kindness is how she carry herself daily she is the best !! Hotel rate 1-10 I give it an 11 it’s just that good! Oh the omelet and pancake cook very engaging and nice and makes the best omelet the whole hotel get an 11!! We will be back.

Only thing that could have been better was the indoor pool (bigger than 5 feet).

The breakfast was phenomenal with various options and a hot bar with chefs that cooked to order certain items like omelette a and pancakes. The staff was amazing and super helpful, especially upon checkout. When our plane was leaving a few hours after checkout they held our luggage while we went out shopping until we returned for it to go to the airport.

It wasn’t within walking distance of many places so we had to Uber.

CLEANLINESS. It is hands down the most important thing in my book. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was really good (as is with most Embassy Suites). Overall, we had an excellent time and will certainly stay here again the next time we're in Houston.

I was coming out of the shower and was greeted by a housekeeper, which definitely scared the living daylights out of me! However, she was friendly and apologized several times. Other than that...everything was GREAT!
