location and overall newness of the property. also I like that the staff was pretty nice and I was able to do late checkout and they gave me toothbrushes and toothpaste for free

the room had kinda weird smell and the facility seems a lil outdated with one elevator that doesn’t seem very sturdy

a great stay! stayed two nights and honestly i would’ve paid more for the stay. very clean, extremely comfortable, super nice staff, all around great stay. this was my first time staying at a la quinta in the houston area and just wow. it’s not a bad distance from things around the city and in a great little part of town, super super close to some restaurants if you wanted to walk. 10/10!

The room wasn't very clean when we arrived, but the staff did offer another room. Since we were already unpacked we decided to stay in the room and they came and cleaned up for us.

Spacious, light filled lobby with a welcoming breakfast dining area. Guests were welcomed to have their meals and coffee in the dining area. Coffee, tea and water were available 24/7. A lovely continental breakfast which included make your own waffles, biscuits, gravy, cereal, bagels, fruit and yogurt. Midweek they added sausages too. The room was well equipped with a mini fridge, microwave and a spacious sink area. Bathroom was spotless and perfect for 1 guest. Immaculately clean room and housekeepers worked very hard during my stay to keep all areas super clean and fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great as it was less than a 20 minute drive to Montrose, Downtown and other attractions. The Heights was 15 mins away. Lyft rides were reasonable as I did not drive. There were quite a few eateries ( Jimmy John's, Taco Bell, Chipitle, Sonic, Jason's Deli and Little Ceaser's) within a 3 min walk, right next to the hotel. Starbucks was across the street and there is a small strip mall with El Rancho supermarket if you needed supplies. Lots of restaurants within a 5-10 min drive. Dogs are welcome and it was fun to see so many happy dogs at breakfast. A nice group of guests of all ages. Excellent value for money in a safe, well lit area.

Clean comfy facility and nice pleasant helpful staff

Wish there was more variety of breakfast items but I've had worse at other hotels so I give breakfast about a 6 out of 10. If I had something else to complain about is the air in my room really didn't get cold which was uncomfortable since I have respiratory problems.

Only coffee and tea were offered around the clock.....if there was a breakfast, we did not see it.

I guess COVID had its restrictions, really just a room to stay the night-- had to switch once because the tv wasn't working properly. Room was clean, served the purpose. Staff was excellent.....good attitude, friendly, helpful, and we put a lot of emphasis on the attitudes of staff which was excellent. Facility again served the purpose and the price was reasonable. Traveling a lot more in the coming months....would consider La Quinta again.....but other than a nice room, I saw no advantages to staying.

Great location. Hotel has a lot of eating places, a grocery store, and is close to Dave and Busters (2.5 miles), and about fifteen minutes from downtown. Rooms are a bit small, but nice. The Direct TV has over 85 channels including multiple premiums. Breakfast has a lot of choices both cold and hot. Staff is great! Property is pet friendly.

Rooms could be a bit bigger.

We loved the location, easy access to the highway. Plenty of food spots around the hotel. Gym was very nice. Breakfast was good. Room always stayed cold.

A thicker sheet/blanket would’ve been nice. A smart TV for streaming platforms would also be nice.

The night front desk worker was very kind and changed our room at check in to better accommodate us.

the walls are very thin. the room above me must have had like 10 kids I had to call and complain at about 11 o’clock at night to tell the front desk that they need to call the room above mine to tell them to be quiet or they will be for mice day because it was very obnoxious. Thankfully, after I called and complained though they did quiet down

The facility was clean and the staff was polite

they have their lawn crew cut the grass at 7 am! We have a 3 year old autistic daughter and we’re in town to bury my Father, so after their lawn crew woke my baby up she was upset and not at all easy to deal with during my dads funeral. You would think they would have them come later. I will not stay at this location again simply for this reason.
