TownePlace Suites by Marriott Houston Westchase

The parking lot was pretty clean.. I was greeted at the door when my husband and I walked in I like that the room had a mini stove and a refrigerator. There were no forks and only 1 spoon .It would've been nice, at least to have 2 of each. Overall, we liked the studio room. And the things that were in it.

My husband and I stay in room 422. As we walked in, the dishwasher was on. The sink was dirty, full of coffee grind. The shower curtain was so long that I was stepping on it while showering, that's dangerous, and I could've slipt. The pillows for the size of the bed were not enough. Every time I pulled a kleenex of the box, it was wet.. Also, the worst toilet paper. Thank God I'll always carry flushable wipes when I travel.. During breakfast, it would have been nice to have bacon. We did not like the turkey sausage. My personal opinion for cleaning. There should be like some kind of inspection paper and sign and then have management check it for clearance. Before I guess steps in.

The staff was nice and the facility was in a good location and the room was nice and clean.

The ice machines need to be maintenance and cleaned out or filters changed. The ice black specs all over them like dirt or mold. The room was clean the carpet just needed to be vaccummed. Otherwise everything was pretty good.

With an autistic family member it was vital to have real, separated rooms. We were very glad that Towneplace Suites had a set up that would work for us. The bathroom was quite nice and the kitchen had more than enough space, which, because of our special needs family member with a special diet, was quite vital. The staff members made sure we had the extra blankets, glasses etc. that we needed once we asked.

I guess maybe the housing staff and/or maintenance are a little overwhelmed at the moment? We originally had one glass and one mug for 5 people. And while cooking utensils are considered part of the deal, we needed to wait until 9 a.m. before we could get a pan to cook with. Since a family member has dietary issues... Also, a few things in one of the rooms (doorknob, cabinet door, etc.) were loose enough to detach.

I was affected by Hurricane Ida and needed to find a place to stay (at the time not even knowing for how long). The hotel staff was so helpful throughout the whole process of checking in and increasing my dates and anything that we needed during our stay. It was great having one less thing to have to think about.

The room size and it's contents, such as furniture and set up.

There wasn't a cookware set in the kitchen cabinet. I had to go and ask for cookware. And there wasn't enough utensils, including only 1 steak knife, to use among 3 guests.

the room is equipped with all amenities needed. it was clean, and the bed was comfortable!

the breakfast foods were not as good as similar hotels

The property needed some up keep but the staff was super friendly and hospitable. I would definitely stay there again

Needed a larger trash cane, more towels and I didn’t like the placement of the tv is was at a weird angel.

The pool was nice breakfast was good, wish their was potatoes on the weekends and more waffle makers not enough of them

Cozy, had everything I needed. Lots of storage space, sitting area. Good for long stays.

Shower head could be replaced. Other than that all good!

The continental breakfast was very sad while I was there. Only two things out. Cream cheese but no bagels, bread, etc to put it on….
