Holiday Inn Express & Suites McKinney - Frisco East, an IHG Hotel

I had no idea that there were so many eateries within walking distance of the hotel. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Every single morning there was a hot continental breakfast waiting for us to enjoy before going to class. The staff was welcoming and on the job constantly. I simply can't wait to return. We stayed in a suite and it was beyond comfortable. If I'd of takin my sister who was in a wheelchair, she would've loved it because without requesting an accessible room, there are support bars in the bathroom in the shower, and the doors are wide enough to accommodate wide wheelchairs. That I had to get out of that bed. It was clean, it smelled so good, and it was utterly COMFORTABLE!!!

Tasty breakfast, especially biscuits and gravy. Very nice and kind people at the reception desk. Professional cleaning service - both room and bathroom perfectly clean - I am saying this as a very picky person when it comes to cleanliness. I see hotel cares abot even as little details as lactoze-free coffee creamer. If I need to stay in a hotel near McKinney in the future, I will choose this hotel again. I recommend it very much!

The hotel charged me $25 more, I realized that 1 day after checking in and I thought that was the hotel's mistake. Then after asking I got to know that this was to cover potential damage I may make and if everything is ok the money will be returned on my account. So that is all fine, I just don't remember being informed about it while paying, that's why I was confused. Other than that, there really wasn't anything I didn't like. Maybe the price could be lower, but I could say that about any other place in America.

The bed was comfy. Great pillows. Decent breakfast.

For some reason we were given a handicap accessible room. I don't think I asked for one, but we got one. That was not the problem. In fact, that room was huge. The problem was the shower. It was a small walk in shower with a hand held shower head that would not stay securely in its holder. So, you had to hold it the whole time to get water on you. The shower curtain was about 4 inches short, so the floor was sopping wet when you got out. And, no mirrors outside of the bathroom.

Staff /location of property. “Feel” of the property. Being a Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, I have admittedly been overly critical of properties in my career. Head of housekeeping would want to know where my inspections would be… To make a long story short.. it has been awhile since I’ve been impressed by a property… thank you!

There was a stain on the carpeting however I did overlook. Barking dog next door to property. Only because I worried it was scared. Used to barking dogs!

The staff was amazing!!!! The desk clerk was very very inviting caring and took care of my needs. Upon check out he was just as friendly caring and concerned that I was able to rest after my procedure at the hospital.

Well..... The mattresses and platform could use a little updating but I would use this facility over and over again..

For our purpose the location was perfect.

I needed some water for my car cooling system. The guy at the front desk couldn't think out of his box and said he couldn't help me. The nice lady taking care of the breakfast area gave me a plastic pitcher with water when I ask her. She was so pleasant and helpful.

The deluxe King room was very spacious and comfortable. No claustrophobia in this room! Location was close to shopping and restaurants. Overall the hotel was very clean, staff friendly and helpful.

The hot water in our room was temperamental. Not sure if it was the faucet or a hot water heater issue.

Never came to room,to replace towels, coffee, never fixed the light around mirror, electrical outlet in bathroom didn’t work, was not fixed during the 4 nights we were there

Extremely clean, and Grace at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and the room was large and had good amenities.

Water pressure in the shower was low, and the hot water didn’t get very hot. Also, the shower heads are close to the wall and we both had issues bumping into the faucet.

Nice staff and clean. breakfast was great and the staff kept it clean and filled. Believe me they had their hands full with a lot of families.

We should be notified that services of the room is by notification of the front desk and the water was barely warm for shower or sink.
