Hampton Inn & Suites San Antonio Riverwalk

Excellent hotel. Best location in River Walk. A full and good breakfast is also served every evening as part of Happy Hour, a full dinner that includes a variety of hot food, soup, salads, sausages and more... free soft and hot drinks and various cocktails, up to 3 glasses per guest in the evening. The hotel does everything possible to make guests feel good. Without a doubt I will recommend all my friends to stay at this hotel in San Antonio

i love that it’s so close to River walk ,overall my stay was excellent ,everything was super clean , customer service was great ! Rooms are spacious and beds are super comfortable!! You have everything you need close to the hotel !! Definitely recommend it

i first of all didn’t like the parking area it’s too small , didn’t like that same food is served for breakfast it was great and all but need variety , the last day of our vacation our vehicle was broken into but fortunately nothing major just be careful and make sure you lock it !! Manager went over and beyond to assist us and offered to file a police report !!

the location was convenient and right on the river walk. rooms were clean. staff was very kind.

the parking garage was difficult to negotiate at best. I have a 4Runner and was able to fit but the ceilings are low— if I’d had a roof rack I couldn’t have gotten inside. parking spaces were extremely narrow and it took several minutes to get my vehicle into a space. the driving area was too narrow for 2 vehicles going in opposite directions so people would have to try and back up out of the driveway so that other folks could get in/out. coming and going during our stay was extremely stressful.

We love the complimentary dinner and adult drinks at the kickback. That was something extra that you don't experience from other hotels. The set up was nice and very organized for that event as well as the breakfast the next morning. Great food selections, plenty of seating space. Staff (front desk, housekeeping) was friendly and helpful ❤️

The only thing that could use some work is the patio seating on the balcony; it could be a little more comfortable maybe add some chair pads to the metal chairs . But other than that one thing , everything was great, definitely would come back.❤️🤗👍🏾

We were allowed to park our car in the garage before check-in. Staff contacted us when room was ready. Staff was extremely friendly. Evening happy hour and morning breakfast were much better than we expected with a lot of food to choose from. Room and building were exceptionally clean. Hotel has an exit right out onto the Riverwalk. Location is within a few blocks of the Alamo and various museums.

Only complaint I have really isn't the fault of the hotel. A couple going to their room at 2:00 A.M. were yelling which woke us up. Other than that I have no complaints at all.

I’ve been staying at the property at least once a year, and sometimes as many as 12 times in a year, with our average stay being 3 nights…and the reason I always pick Drury suites is the total package! Very Nice rooms, great staff, amazing location, can walk to anything downtown with the river walk right out the door! And if you’re visiting Fiesta Texas or Sea World, you’re 25 minutes from either!

Parking a pickup or large SUV (think Ford F-150 or Expedition XL) can be a little tight, but is doable…or there are other public parking areas within 3min walk!

Amazing location, right on the Riverwalk! Our room even had a view of the river. We were able to step outside the hotel and be in the main area of the Riverwalk, with a leisurely and fun walk easy around the Riverwalk loop. Check in was easy. Room was a good size, and the beds were comfy. Parking was available ($19/night) which is much cheaper than many of the other hotels I had researched. It was a parking garage so easy to get in and out as needed. There was included breakfast (with hot food like eggs, waffles, biscuits, sausage) and also a happy hour around 5pm which included some food (hot dogs, popcorn, salad, and more) and a couple of drinks (including alcohol). It was such a nice perk!

Great amenities. Breakfast, light dinner, snacks & 3 adult beverages per adult during happy hour included in the price. Most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in with nice pillows. Staff was very friendly, rooms clean & food was good. Really great location as well.

Tiny parking garage, but there’s no helping that. I got an email from Drury before my stay, maybe mention happy hour & discount tickets to local attractions in that email.

Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast and evening snack were great. Really a quiet hotel which was a big plus...it seemed like we were alone most of the time. Location right on Riverwalk and proximity to nice restaurants

Leave the soda machine open 24/7. Water in taps is not very cold and the soda machine did have cold water. Plus, it's easier to get ice into an insulated bottle from the soda machine instead of the ice machine on the guest floors. Oh...maybe allow the drink coupons to be used for soda at the market. Neither my wife nor I drink alcohol and the drink coupons were a total waste for us; also lights on balcony weren't working or we couldn't figure out how to turn them on.

The hotel is very clean. The rooms are as advertised, and more! Great location. The staff were very nice and the accommodations were outstanding! We were on our honeymoon. We will definitely stay here the next time we get back to San Antonio! The best place to stay for your buck too… a good variety hot breakfast, and 3 free drinks every night! You can’t beat it.

Great, perfect location!! Parking is expensive, and it’s everywhere you drive. So location is the key if you’re looking for ways to walk to the different tourist sites. Only $19 per night!!
