Very comfy & Shara (their ambassador of cleanliness) made us feel right at home.
A little snafu was that Shara left our door unlocked (open) after making up the room. I recommend a few more feather pillows because their foam pillows are not our preference. It was amazing that (Shara) was able to find us a few feather (not foam) pillows for our second nights stay. Thank you, thank you. PS-I’m sure doors are locked (during ski season) after room is made up. Our visit was off season. 😱

Everything
Breakfast! Too little before skiing. Steve (the owner )could add extra food: eggs, fresh bred, salami, different kind of cheese, better jam. The worst part was, when we get home to NJ, we found out that 300$ were missing from my wallet. I don’t have Steve number cos I wanted to discussed it with him. I can’t blame anybody but nobody else had the key accept someone from the hotel. Hope I am wrong but it was very bad feeling to think that maybe someone in the hotel took the money. Bitter end of our winter vacation. Hope Steve will write me email cos I don’t have his email either. I still feel bad about that understandably.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Location is great for traveling to Killington mountain and also very close to the strip of restaurants/bars/shops on the mountain road leading to Killington. Breakfast at the inn was great and my room (single queen) was clean and spacious.
The driveway to the inn is a bit steep and can be trouble for those without a capable vehicle during snowy weather. It also has a protruding ridge at the top which can be trouble for low vehicles.

very convenient to where I wanted to travel around
The bed was comfortable but the pillows were totally flat and worthless. I used two pillows and still not comfy. Had to use three pillows due to pillows being like a truck ran over them. The room had a huge water stain on the ceiling near the sliding door/window. Not appealing at all. Very small balcony barely big enough for two chairs if you like sitting in a small triangle. No screen on sliding door so no chance of getting any fresh air in the room without bugs and flies. An abundant selection of cable tv channels to watch but tv flat screen was too small to watch from much distance. Exhaust fan in bathroom was very loud and vibrated like crazy. Worst I have ever heard.

The staff was great and the place was really nice. Great location. It's a little dated but no more then any other place like this in VT. It's a little pricey but again, reasonable for what it is and staying there during fall foliage. Its the same anywhere you find to stay. I think the place was great. The rooms have a balcony and a fridge and the gift shop is wonderful...again, pricey, but no more then any other bougie boutique. I would definitely stay again. Lastly, breakfast is provided, which is great, especially since there really isn't much else around that does breakfast during Fall (can't comment on ski season).
A little dated like I said above but not unexpected for VT, most places are exactly the same

The beds are very comfortable, the owner and other staff are super nice. They make you feel at home the entire time you are there. You are given suggestions about places to go and things to do, not only places to eat but to explore the area. There was a huge bike race going on a couple of days into our stay so we were warned about how busy the area was going to get especially around the Killington mountain. There's a 3 floor gift shop attached to the hotel which is incredibly beautiful.
The only problem I had was the bathroom fan needs to be replaced because it's very loud. There's 4 of us and we shower at night and it was running until we were all finished. The people on the floor above complained and we turned it off.

the staff are very friendly. the owner Steph is super friendly and very helpful. I can say that all positive reviews I saw on booking before my stay, I found to be true and real. the breakfast room is amazing and you’ll truly feel home.
due to COVID the hotel is following safety guidelines by maintaining less contacts which includes no house keeping. staying with two kids for a week was a bit challenging since my kids aren’t very cooperative when it comes to cleaning and organizing :). the staff were very helpful in providing anything we need like towels, etc but it was a bit challenging.

I will say looking at the pictures I thought this place was going to be very dated and scary. But upon arrival we came here late we called before to let them know we were going to come late and I left a key on the front and speaking to the lady on the phone and Steve was amazing. The morning when we got we got up we went downstairs and had breakfast and the layout was amazing you got bagels cereal coffee all that jazz. That’s how we met Steve and he was so knowledgeable and told us about thundering Brook Trail which we did you have to do it we also met a couple of the guys a lot were hikers and family so that was really nice. We then went and walked the property there’s a lovely apple trees and also a beautiful river or babbling brook on the property there’s also a pool and a hot tub but we didn’t use that facility because it was too cold. So do the hike go see the babbling park if you have kids or you just want to be adventurous. The bed was comfortable but definitely ask for more pillows.
I enjoyed everything about this property this is going to be on my top 10 when I come back to Vermont because it’s right down the street from Killington and everything that you need to get to it’s the perfect location.

Charming, adorably furnished hotel makes one feel they are in cozy mountain retreat. The little special touches like wine glasses and magazines in the room make you feel welcome. Front desk personnel super friendly ( may be owners?) and offered suggestions for what to do in the area in positive, friendly style. Wonderful restaurants close by. Room was spacious and included a real couch for relaxing! Extremely cozy comforter and pillows contributed to good night sleep. Balcony overlooked mountain of fall color and fabulous pool area. Darling gift shop and colorful potted flowers complete ambiance of well cared for facility. Added to all of this was a great breakfast in really cute dining area!
Everything was delightful. 10 stars!!!!!

The lobby and breakfast room were both exceptionally well-appointed, comfortable and cozy. Just what I would expect, and want, in a mountain hotel near a ski resort. Good variety of breakfast items and pleased to see signage re: unvaccinated needing to wear masks indoors. Room was very clean and comfortable. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Gift store upstairs was amazing. So many beautiful quality items . . . and all very reasonably priced.
Wifi wasn't very strong. Checking email had to be done via cell phone hotspot. No hopes for streaming any video or movies.
