Local vibe. Clean rooms. Easy check in. Restaurant on site with above average food and homey local atmosphere. Hands on involved owner who is available and attentive to guest satisfaction. This is our second stay here. Nov 2021 and 2022. Good value close to Killington. You’ll be treated like a friend.

we booked this place due to having a restaurant. I kept viewing rates and it dropped by $70 for our 2 night stay. I cancelled and rebooked only to notice that there was a message saying the restaurant will be closed till mid May. Not many options left in this area so we decided to still give it a try. it was a nice place but everything was a 12 minute drive or longer. bathroom is cute but very small. the complimentary breakfast has good choices of coffee and sweets. location is far from everything. Window A/C was not yet installed, the room was too warm even with the window open all night. it’s far from everything. very nice place, but won’t stay if restaurant closed.

This place is a gem. Great location not far from killington. It’s off a main road but pretty quiet and tucked into the mountains. Huge bonus having the tavern there with great food and drinks. Great price and the rooms are fairly new and clean. Also great customer service and they allow you to bring your fur babies so you can’t beat that!

The downfall would be if you are a light sleeper like me. We were on the first floor and you could hear every creek in the floor boards of the person in the room above. The other thing is the pipes make a light tapping and dripping sound. I had a rough time sleeping due to this. Not a management issue at all more of a structural building issue but I’m hoping it’s something that can be addressed because without that tiny issue this place would be 10/10!!

A great place to stay with a lovely modern clean room very well appointed with fridge, coffee maker and microwave. The Clear River Tavern is right behind the building and great for meals although breakfast is supplied in the 'Breakfast Room' were you help yourself to an American style breakfast. Wonderful scenery with trails and hikes close by also local town with gas station and store for everything you may need. Would happily stay there again.

Everything was great we thoroughly enjoyed our couple of days there. Didn't see any staff during our stay which was a little odd.

Such lovely rooms with beautiful views and extra large beds! Temperature controlled, hygienic, and spacious. We stayed here for only a night during our road trip but wanted to stay much longer! The self-check in process is super smooth and hassle free. There's free parking on site, which is great! Check the tavern out (behind the property). Delicious food, great drinks and amazing staff.

The breakfast does not include fresh food. It's just frozen bagels, granola bars, greek yoghurt and stale muffins. Quite disappointing. The coffee/tea counter was great, however.

Excellent value considering it's only a 15 minute drive to Killington Resort. Room and bathroom was fairly basic, but was clean and comfortable. The tavern/restaurant behind the property had great elevated bar food and friendly staff, and the added breakfast room with continental breakfast was a nice bonus. I'd stay again.

Walls were a bit thin (if you're sensitive to sound) and bed soft for my preference, but these were no big deal compared to the pros of our stay.

Loved it, great communication prior to check in. Didn't see the owners, but didn't need to! Spacious room with all the necessary amenities. A cupboard for anything else required. Comfy beds. Tavern onsite provided lovely food and service. Not many other places to stay nearby so this was perfect in a super location!

Spacious room- seemed newly renovated, spotlessly clean, large comfy bed, fluffy towels. Nice lighting and furniture. Breakfast nook was good- cereals, bagels, yoghurt and coffee. Also enjoyed dinner and drinks at the tavern just next door (no driving needed!). Also 10 mins drive to Killington and easy reach to the ski area. Hope to come back!

After booking we received a personalized email from the manager with check-in info that outlined what to expect during our stay along with other useful information on dining and what to do if the office was closed in case we needed anything. The room was nice and clean & the amenities described were provided. We also checked out the Tavern for dinner/drinks - great food, beautiful view and can't remember when we've had such outstanding & friendly service!

The beds were a little too soft for our taste - but not at all complaining! Everything/Everyone else made up for the soft beds ha!

Room was recently renovated and had everything needed for a comfortable stay, breakfast room was well stocked, the exterior is also getting a new paint job which did not affect our visit

Unfortunately the Tavern was closed Monday and Tuesday, we would have liked to enjoy some pints in it
