Homewood Suites by Hilton Alexandria

Loved the option of a room with a kitchen and a sofa bed for family of 5. Spacious and kids loved the pool. We ate breakfast every morning, I used the gym facility which was nice with dumbbells, treadmill, elliptical and even a Peloton bike. I found this hotel because it had breakfast, free parking, a gym and laundry room! Great location to visit DC and Maryland.

Wish the indoor hot tub would have been available to use but the HVAC system wasn’t working since May a sign said.

The staff was super friendly, breakfast had good options and changed daily, easy parking and well lit, nice area, convenient location for travel into D.C., two grocery stores down the street (Giant has it's own parking lot, Harris Teeter has parking garage), rooms were comfortable and quiet, swimming pool and pool/billiards in the main lobby were an enjoyable plus.

the room was huge, clean, quiet. we stayed very briefly as we booked this hotel just to sleep overnight as it was halfway point of our long road trip. I wish we could have stayed longer. there was a gorgeous pool that we could see from our room. the complimentary breakfast was clean and nice selection. staff was friendly. lots of parking available.

I would have liked to have been able to see my car from the room but it was not a big deal as the room we were given had a nice view of the pool. nothing bad to say about this property

Spacious room with huge bathroom and kitchenette. TV both in living room and bedroom. Nice towels. Very friendly employees who helped us when wifi wasn't working in our room. Very nice breakfast choices. Thick walls, could not hear other guests. Room was very clean, great area with many restaurants within a mile or two. Plenty of parking available for guests. Little convenience store with reasonable prices was appreciated.

Coffee was weak. Bed was very firm but that's personal preference. That's really all I can think of!

The staff was great. The room was beautiful and well laid out. The location was easy to get to and near food.

Housekeeping came in once when we asked them not to clean, which isn't too much of a complaint. Otherwise location of the room wasn't the best due to proximity to breakfast and I think cleaning area, which would be positive if not for the noise.

This is our 2nd stay in less than 2 months at this hotel. The staff is always so friendly. The rooms are clean and comfy. The free breakfast is delicious. The free tea and coffee in the lobby is wonderful. The location is the best. You are about 20-25 minutes from downtown Alexandria, DC, and Maryland. Plenty to do and plenty of attractions,shopping,and restaurants near by.

Nothing negative too say!!

The location was perfect, we did not go down for the breakfast.However I just booked another suite for a July concert in NJ and may try breakfast then. The staff and room was outstanding, during our stay a tree fell on the property.(high winds) This happened while we were out eating dinner, however when I came down for a smoke a couple of hours later the tree was gone and zero residue left. As a person who has worked on a building Facilities team that was absolutely outstanding work! Could imagine so many other establishments waiting until Monday. Great job all the way around.

All went well, some guests smoked cigarettes in their rooms and one smoked Mary Jane on the front lawn...that is absolutely no fault of Hilton. And not worth the aggravation to complain, nor will it deter my wife and I from visiting Homewood Suites. People mature when they mature🙂

The breakfast and the refreshments in the evening are awesome. The breakfast staffs are friendly.

I wish the hotel can provide the refreshment everyday and we can have early check-in especially for the ones that come out of state. We came half hour early and we had to wait our room ready until about 1/2 hour passed check-in time.

The staff and breakfast were wonderful.

Hot tub should have been listed as unavailable. The beds were not very comfortable and the hot tub was not listed as not being open but was still not available due to Covid restrictions. Housekeeping never came to clean while we stayed which I had said every other day.

Breakfast was decent for it being complimentary. 24 hour coffee bar was nice. The run was very nice and spacious. The bathroom was amazing. Quiet on the inside yet accessible to all attractions.

Housekeeping shouldn't cut corners. Clean everything even if you think it isn't visible. Breakfast could've offered more variety of entrees and fruit.
