Courtyard Newport News Yorktown

Our stay was great. It was very quiet and clean. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating to my needs. The location was perfect because it was close to the interstate, shops and restaurants. I love that it also had a bar downstairs (we didn’t eat at the restaurant, but we did go to the bar). There was also a small convenient store, although the prices were very expensive, which is expected. Another plus was that they provided the use of the indoor pool, which we didn’t get a chance to use, but that was also a plus!

everything! everyone here is always so PROFESSIONAL, courteous, and so so pleasant. every time we come back home to Newport News visit family in Kiln Creek, the only place we will stay! The staff, can’t even begin to tell you all the amaze, even though upon checking in, the app stated every other day room turndown , they came in everything day, with out us even asking!!!! just amazing, we will see you all July 4th-July 10th!

Our bedroom was larger than we expected. it was comfortable, clean and well-equipped. On the whole, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel Starbucks: staff not very friendly and limited availability. Made worse by the fact there’s a SB and other facilities across the street but no one thought to plan the city so pedestrians can get there!

Near Kroger and Starbucks for food and breakfast. In a little better shape than some of the other equivalent hotels in the area. Good lighting and big windows let lots of sunlight in.

Hard to access the HDMI ports to hook up the laptop to the TV. Trash bins were ridiculously small. You had to request for your room to be cleaned. The shower curtain was not wide enough to prevent water from flooding the bathroom floor and leaking out into the sink area. The non-carpeted areas of the room did not feel clean.

We really liked the staff. Very friendly and helpful! We asked for recommendations for places to eat and also for directions and they were always available to help. The room and bed were very comfortable.

The bathroom had some rusty spots on the doors and shower. Could be updated. Other than that, everything was good.

This was a comfortable stay close to the interstate and food options. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Having a TV with internet capabilities that was easy to use was a nice home-y touch.

The ONLY thing I have feedback on is that the water pressure in the shower was extremely low so it took longer than normal to get/feel clean. It did stay hot the whole time so it wouldn't impact me choosing to stay there again.

THe staff was exceptionally service oriented. When I arrived, there was a problem because Booking.com had cancelled my reservation with no notice to me. The staff helped straighten it out and got me another room. They were courteous and competent. Even though there was a mix up they never gave up helping! Also I had left behind a personal item when I checked out and they assisted getting it to me. Highly recommend!

THe hotel is going through a refurbishment so some things look a little old/worn out, but over all the place is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable.

We loved the fact that the indoor pool was open until 11pm. There were a lot of places to eat. We ate at Texas Roadhouse which was across from the parking lot.

Wish that the Starbucks was open more hours.

The staff was wonderful and so was the maid staff.

All was great until night fall apparently there was a group of young basket ball players at night they were loud constantly knocking on the door and running off. We called downstairs and it still continued for at least 2 hours as my husband got up to say something to them he was cursed out by all 3 of the female . Eventually staff came up and noise ceased only to find out as we opened the door trash was left at our door and in hallway. NO SLEEP AT ALL.. terrible ... 2 night was a waste of money. Fif manage to finish class.

The room was decent very clean location wasn’t bad. The location was quite this part met my expectations. No complaints regarding this par.

Problems with the tv entire trip to the point it stop working all together. I reported problem I thought they would make it right but they didn’t very disappointed. It would have been nice to exchange rooms.
