Comfort Inn & Suites Hampton near Coliseum

The check in was quick and easy. They are renovating so the first floor was unavailable and lobby was clearly under renovation but it was safe. My room was exceptionally clean and well stocked. I had no problems during my stay. Parking was great. I felt safe and comfortable going in and out at night. There are stores in the surrounding area and an ER just down the street. I didn’t get the opportunity to enjoy the breakfast. I was able to sleep in the first morning I was there without anyone bothering me. Also, the pictures on the site need to be updated because the hotel looks slot more up to date that what’s shown. (Sorry…didn’t take any pictures of the room to upload with review)

The only complaint I have is that the blanket on the bed and pillows are very thin. It looks great but very thin. I couldn’t keep the room as cool as I like but it wasn’t a big deal to me. I will definitely be booking this property again when I return.

The most professional staff I've ever encountered at a non-high-end hotel! Super impressed by everyone who served at the front desk and especially the employee, Lanai, who served the breakfast area. She went over and beyond in her assistance and maintained a positive and welcoming attitude. We had an issue or two with our room, but they responded promptly and their overall professionalism made up for any negative issues. Wish all hotel staff was as professional and hospitable as they are!

Couple of issues with the room - but wouldn't sway me from returning or recommending it.

I loved the location. It was easy to get to any place we wanted to go, especially the many restaurants in the neighborhood. The room was nice and clean, and there was plenty of parking spaces available for the patrons. My husband and I look forward to our visit again next year.

There was nothing that I did not like, however, I was not aware that we needed to advise housecleaning before noon, if we wanted to have our room serviced. So, we went our entire visit without that service, we jiust went to housekeeping to get clean towels, hand towels and washcloths.

Rooms have been updated and were clean. bed was very comfortable, rooms are spacious. the location and value of this hotel can't be beat. have stayed here numerous times while visiting, and will again. The staff here are very friendly and helpful.

renovations are still happening, which is good but messy. upon arrival they were working in the lobby and the drywall dust was flying everywhere. unavoidable during remodeling I understand but flared my allergies.

The staff was great , friendly and personable. The room was nice clean and spacious. Hotel was well kept. The renovations mentioned on line were done very well. There were a few cosmetic items that were forgotten like a security hook on door but the knob to connect it was missing but overall it met my needs.

The breakfast was below average. Variety limited and not tasty at all.

Good size of the room and everything super clean

We take a room with a big bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was horrible, we could not use it because the mattress just was a pile of springs. I think they should not offer that option. If we will know that, we have booked a room with 2 beds. Also, they don't offer water. I think if you can offer ice, you can also offer filter water and not only tap water. The last thing was the pool. It was our mistake it's true, but we thought that was temperated pool because It says indoor pool, but the water is cold.

I have stayed at this location several times, love the remodel. love the location. the staff is amazing!

some things are in my room were broken. the securty lacth on the door was missing a piece. wished the refrigerator in the room had a freezer space. the bathroom needed to be cleaned a bit better.

I loved everything about this property. From the friendly staff to the cleanliness of the property! Everything was amazing! I will definitely recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family! I was there on a “Me”cation. It was exactly what i wanted. Peace and Quiet!!

At the comfort Inn & Suites Hampton it was a beautiful hotel.I enjoyed this place. The room was very clean. The people was very nice  and the workers was very nice. I would recommend this place to go to stay for your next hotel.  very nice and clean. I give them 10

That the place was very clean

Kevin is an awesome dude who takes good care of me every time I stay! The rooms are always clean and there are no bad smells. The breakfast is decent as well. The freezer could have been a lil colder but overall it kept my food cool. I have no complaints at all and will definitely be returning!
