Courtyard Suffolk Chesapeake

The property is modern and beds are comfortable. I am 6'0 tall and was pleased the bed size was accomodating. I also really liked the modern bathroom. They even use Cottonelle toilet paper. The TV was a nice size as well. I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

I selected a room to include breakfast but was dissapointed the breakfast was not buffet. I was expecting a various selection to choose from but this option was not available. The cafe makes a to go sandwhich and a small cup of fruit. That was it. This hotel is expensive to stay and rates are one of the highest and I would have thought they would not have skimped on the breakfast. Despite the dissapointing breakfast and expensive rates my stay was awesome!

I did not try the breakfast at the location. From the looks of the options, it had a nice variety. I saw other individuals eat breakfast there, just not myself or my family.

I did not like the size of the pool. There were a lot of guests during our stay and I think if the pool was bigger than, more guests could have used that amenity. It was also cold for an indoor pool.

The lady that worked the night desk Karen was such a sweetheart very professional and courteous I have great respect for people like that one problem neither the room key or the key at the front desk would open the indoor pool door the only dissatisfaction my wife and I had maybe coming back in May of to see my sister-in-law all your staff was great thank you guys

Very disappointed with the cable on the TV let's get more channels also the key to the room would not open the pool door and front desk could not get it open

Location was very quiet. Staff, especially at check-in, were wonderful! Bed was very comfortable and room looked like it had been cleaned. I will definitely stay again.

The only complaint is that house keeping should be cleaning/dusting everything, not just the most used things, in the room.

Outside of the rude front desk clerk, everything was amazing! The hospitality staff was absolutely amazing. Smiling and asking if I needed anything whenever I came out the room. I'd stay here again.

There was one front desk clerk when I checked in who was just rude. I had to continuously ask for my Marriott number to be added to my reservation.

Breakfast was ok, but pricy. Karaoke saved us all. My entire Cadre of coworkers sang Thursday night. It was great team building.

Breakfast selection was super limited.

The staff were very friendly and helpful very comfortable

Only issue I had was dirty stains in the bed I called the lobby and they switched rooms with no problem

I thought the breakfast was included in the cost for the room. Instead we had to pay for our breakfast. The cost for breakfast was not reasonable.

I didn't eat breakfast at this location. Overall was nice! Got the coffee!

Overall was very clean. This place was organized and neat! And everything was easy to use.

Staff is attentive and accommodating in a pandemic.

No food service. In a pandemic it’s hard to stay anywhere but home. But when you have to travel, Marriott has always made it convenient. Invest in making the experience as close to normal as possible. All that to say, I like my eggs hot, and my bacon crispy not a cold sandwich to go. People will learn to wait their turn. Please bring back room service and the breakfast kitchen crew... Thank you, SMP
