We stayed in suite 317. The room was very spacious, clean, well equipped for cooking and the air conditioning was wonderful. When I travel to Williamsburg again I will stay here. And would love that same room 317.
I really had no complaints. I didn't like seeing the staff working in the HOT hallways. They were very pleasant and accommodating, but I did feel bad for them.

That the property was close to our destination, the king size room w/kitchen was very spacious, a very nice size room.
Could be cleaned up a little more/updated and it stated there was breakfast included online but was never informed when checking in if it was available or not.

Being that my original reservation at another location was unexpectedly canceled. The MainStay was more than Accommodating for such short notice. This location is a (as the title states) Diamond in the Rough!
Though it is in need of much up dating and repair. I can not say anything negative of this location. It would truly be a shame if this Hotel goes unattended to.

We were there for one night so it served us well as a stopover but it was great having a larger room than most hotels.
Everything was just fine and dandy but exceptional to me is that maybe shrimp was served for breakfast. - Change exceptional to another word in your review.

The only thing was the pool area was under renovation. But can't wait to see what it looks like next time we come back.

The location was good, close to friends I was visiting as well as Colonial Williamsburg and Copper Fox Distillery. The room was comfortable and spacious. Truth be told, I didn’t recall reserving a suite but it was well appointed with full kitchen, refrigerator and table/chairs included. I will stay here again the next time I visit.
The only thing I had come up was there was no ice machine on my floor. This went against all the signs that said Ice Machine >>

The kitchen, how close it was to bush gardens & water country, and to restaurants/grocery store.
The indoor pool was not open because they don’t have enough staff to clean it or check chemical levels.
