Red Roof Inn Williamsburg

Big clean room with comfy bed and nice large screen TV with a fridge and small microwave. An under 15 minute walk to Christina Campbell’s restaurant in Colonial Williamsburg and quick easy access to the Colonial Parkway and under 10 minute easy drive to Merchant’s Square.

It’s an older property that has been upgraded. There are some rough edges like the stairs (with no elevator to the 2nd level) and old bath fixtures and bathroom door that doesn’t quite shut tight but everything is clean and solid. A great value for comfort and location.

This hotel is very conveniently located for Colonial Williamsburg which was the purpose of our visit to the city. Restaurants also located close by. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

There was no clean-up of the room between the two nights of our stay. However, the front desk was quick to accommodate our request for clean towels. The bathroom is a bit run-down, but we made do. It was mainly a place to sleep around our visit to Colonial Williamsburg.

Location is great as well as staff!

Everything was very good.

That's the cleanest cheap hotel we have been in... and not fake clean, really, really clean. It looks not very promising outside and inside the room it's a safe haven.

No breakfast. It's so nice to have breakfast included. Even if it's just toast and jam.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. The room was nice and the hotel is close to everything in Williamsburg. I would definitely stay again and recommend this place.

The cleanliness could use a little work. But otherwise. Great place to stay.

I have stayed her plenty of times and I love the upgrades to the room! Parked right in front of our room, which I love. Bed is always comfortable and I like the desk, which I used to do a little work. Area is quiet and not far from restaurants and stores.

Red Roof Inn did meet beyond my expectations because it provided me with a very clean, comfortable room at an affordable price, and in addition excellent location to the colonial historical Williamsburg, Virginia. And is a localized walking distance (around 3 minutes) to the "Capitol Pancake House", a very nice place for breakfast/brunch before starting your colonial adventure.

I love the fact that it’s quiet and conveniently located. Plenty of good restaurants and grocery stores within a 4-5 mile radius. The staff inside the office are super friendly and helpful. The house keepers are fast and efficient. I can’t think of a thing I would complain about. It’s always quiet and there’s never any drama here. It’s also not that far from Colonial Williamsburg so if you are up to a 20-25 minute walk, you’re in luck. It’s nice walk and since I’ve been here there’s never been a lot of traffic. I absolutely love it here!

Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Really helpful and friendly staff. Excellent pancake house almost next door for breakfast/lunch. Very convenient location for historic Williamsburg sightseeing.

It's time to upgrade the bathroom.

I was impressed by the size of the room and the fact that it includes everything you needed (i.e. desk, lounge area, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, TV). I also enjoyed the size of the bathroom and the water pressure was definitely a bonus. Plus they had a nice-sized pool area that you can use. There a few restaurants within walking distance and its a short walk to Colonial Williamsburg. I definitely recommend a few day's visit.
