Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington DC NoMa Union Station

Breakfast was good, room was spacious and shuttle was a great addition

Only cleaned Mon, Weds, and Friday. Which could have been told to us when we checked in

The included hot breakfast was a plus. There were usually scrambled eggs, omelets, meats( sausage, ham, bacon etc changed daily), potatoes, grits/oatmeal (changed daily) waffle batter to make your own, juices, fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, assorted cereals, milk, bread, bagels, muffins, pastries etc. There's something for everybody which was convenient. I advise going earlier in the morning less guests in the breakfast area. Could get crowded later. ( stayed during busy week - spring break) The free shuttle within 1 mile which made it easy to navigate to the National Mall Attractions from Union Station. There's assorted tea and hot water and coffee in the lobby. Snacks and essentials to purchase in the lobby if you forgot to pack yours. Staff was helpful and friendly. Overall a pleasant stay.

I stayed 4 nights and there was no housekeeping to empty the trash or provide fresh towels. You can request at the front desk but I thought someone would check after a couple days. Room smells a little strange. Maybe HEPA filters need to be changed in their ventilation system or carpet needs to be cleaned and deodorized.

A good breakfast was included including waffles that you could make yourself. In-room facilities include a fridge, dishwasher, crockery and cutlery. The beds were quite comfortable and the sofa bed was sufficient for a short stay for a family of five. The receptionist and staff were pleasant and helpful. There is a shuttle service to Union Station which is fairly central to DC

On one side of the property, seems like it may not be as safe to walk through at night. but from the main road seems quite safe. No room service but allows Uber Eats and other delivery

Room size was extremely good for two Adults and two children. Kitchen facilities was awesome. Liked indoor car parking. Location of hotel is good nearby all attractions . Very nice and helping behavior of front desk staffs .

Tourist attraction magazine and pamphlet haven’t found in the receptions .

The Suite was well appointed and clean. Had to have the HDMI cable replaced, but that was quickly rectified by the super friendly representative from the front desk. (Gentleman) The location was super convenient from Union Station and to our final destination, The Basilica of the Natural Shrine. All in all, the stay was worth the money.

We expected a little more for breakfast as we stayed at the hotel across from Homewood Suites and was told that we upgraded by staying at this hotel. However, we got a lot better bang for the buck with breakfast across the street.

Property was clean and the suite was well worth the money. The staff was very nice and personable. The breakfast was good. I felt vey safe with the safety feature of having to use your room card inorder for the elevator to go up to the floors. The shuttle bus drivers were all nice and highly recommended using the bus. It was convenient and always on time. Will sure to stay at Homewood Suites again.

The pool was not available. Little disappointed on that since our stay was during the summer time. All the good things out weighed this one little disappointment.

The breakfast was good, loved the room, very comfortable. The kitchen was nice too, I was able to keep my drinks and small snacks we bought cold.

I didn't realize that checkout was 11 am. My partner and I were leaving around 1130am when we did eventually leave, but at 11 sharp we got a knock on the door from housekeeping asking if we have extended our stay and we got a call from the front desk asking the same. A bit aggressive for a mistake on my end.

Thought we didnt use it, I really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen. The bed was large and pretty comfortable and clean. The cute little coffee maker in the kitchen did a great job of making coffee, and the coffee itself was pretty good. Everything was clean and looked well kept. There were parking spaces that were actually available unlike some hotels that never have enough, and the check in process was super easy and convenient. All of the staff were super nice and accommodating and made us feel welcomed.

There was no hand soap in the room at all, none in the kitchen and none in the bathroom. While neither of us took a shower the night we stayed, i noticed that they had given us a shampoo and conditioner but no body wash. They also didnt have any dish soap aside from a dishwasher powder but I had only used a spoon and didnt want to run the entire dishwasher for one dirty spoon. Also there werent any paper towels in the room which made cleaning up some spilled soda and eating pizza a bit inconvenient.

Room was big and comfortable. There was extra space for work. Staff was really helpful. There was parking place for my car. Hotel is not far from metro station. I am not sure what was the event on the day we have arrived but we received free dinner.

Traffic in Washington is huge. I had to travel around the city. Next time I would also consider direction from which I arrive.

The toilet seat was missing a screw to keep it from moving, so every time my husband used it, his penis got pinched, causing the skin to break ouch. That was the only problem. Unfortunately
