Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, La Crosse, WI

We liked that there were hot eggs and sausage available for breakfast as well as yogurt, fruit, milk and coffee. We misunderstood our online booking. We thought we would have 2 rooms each with 2 queen beds due to the wording in booking.com. Instead, we had 2 rooms for a total of 2 queen beds. For the 2 parties using one of the rooms, they needed to have separate beds in the room. The hotel quickly changed them to a room with 2 queen beds for an additional charge of $15 which they did not mind. They were very happy the hotel made the change with no hassle!

Not much room to sit in the breakfast room. It was crowded. Pool area is viewable from outside and lounge area. I'm a woman & didn't like men being able to watch me walking in my swim suit.

The gal at the desk was wonderful and moved us to a ant free room immediately. Breakfast was good. Nice variety, food was hot. Workers came in and stirred gravey and replenished items. They were very conscientious and cleaned up people's messes. The pool area was very nice and we went swimming.

The 1st room had a dozen ants crawling on the desktop, the light alongside the bed didn't work and the room smelt musty. Probably had not been opened up in awhile. The desk clerk suggested and then moved us immediately. We just told her about the ants. She showed us the room we would move to and throughly checked it over.

Everybody was very friendly and helpful. Mike, in the breakfast room was very nice and positive. He said he loves working here. That they are very good to their employees. We felt good about supporting a business that takes care of their employees. It was clean and the pool and hot tub were great! Great value! We will stay here again!!

The beds were a little too firm. The pool was a little too cool.

Management and staff were amazing! Absolutely delightful to be around. The swimming pool and hot tub were clean, and the hours (6am - midnight) of operation wonderful for a early morning or late night swim. The breakfast nice and the dining area was always clean and tidy. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Location and staff were great. Very clean hotel. We did not stay for the breakfast unfortunately. We did use the hotbtub and it was nice. Clean.

The beds could use upgrading. Not the most comfortable. 2 Queen suite. The room rate was a bit high for the time of year we stayed { April } apparently there was a college graduation. We were grateful to have a room to stay at for our event that was work related, but $160/night seemed high with AAA discount too.

Roombwas very small with little wiggle room. With two queen beds, you can barely walk around and can hardly use the desk, no table. Pool small lacking size and depth. Jacuzzi a little small too, with no adjustments.

Very clean, convenient location, family restaurant next door.

Most places will have a few rooms ready before 3 pm but every year I go there I have to wait until exactly 3 and this year I would have had to wait even longer for the first floor room I wanted so I settled for the 2nd floor. Also didn’t like that I had to scan something with my phone to get a tv channel guide.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. We decided to stay another night after our checkout time: we were quickly and efficiently helped. The lady who was in charge with breakfast was very patient with us(as we were the last ones eating). Breakfast had a nice selection and was tasty. The whole property was in top shape...clean and well maintained. The pool area was very relaxing. The hot tub was the best we’ve seen in awhile. The whole area was very clean.

The public bathroom in the pool area was disappointing after the cleanliness of all the other areas. Also the parking lot needed to be cleaned up...abandoned truck tires and various other garbage.

Older hotel, but refurbished with on trend comforts and design. All staff are very friendly and concerned for guests' comfort and satisfaction. Upgraded our room at check in at the same rate we booked!

A little bit of communication problem at check in, but it was quickly and courteously resolved to our complete satisfaction. Breakfast area is clearly upgraded for a better dining experience. COVID - 19 restrictions prevented them offering a full service meal, but the staff was very attentive to any need and it was immaculate.

The staff were very friendly and helpful rooms we clean and tidy and bed was comfortable, the breakfast was just the basics.
