Comfort Inn Onalaska - La Crosse Area

The location of this Comfort Inn is excellent for dining, shopping, and connecting to the cities around it. But the best part of every stay in every Comfort Inn is the mattress and pillows! The staff were so friendly and helpful at this location. Especially Deb, the breakfast provider. Scrambled eggs that tasted like she cooked them from scratch. Plump sausage links, pastries, fruit, and yogurt kept us coming back. They have waffle makers and pancake makes too plus juices, and coffee.

I wish they had a exercise room, but it is a smaller Comfort Inn, so I get it. Also, for the pool going travelers, it looked inviting, but there was no hot tub. Parking is great, though.

The breakfast had a nice selection in a nice space. When I arrived downstairs a little later, some options were out with over an hour left to serve but overall it was great. The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious. Our king room included a nice couch with footstools and a desk, A refrigerator and microwave were also available.

The pool was cold. The bathtubs have a rounded bottom which was slippery when wet; I think it would be a good option to have a bathmat in the bottom to prevent potential falls. Our smoke detector started chirping the first morning there. I called down to the desk and somebody changed the battery while we were out.

the rooms were great for the price. it seems newly built or renovated, which is nice. breakfast is GREAT!!!

pool was closed due to a chlorine issue. I was charged tax twice, but that was quickly cleared up. rooms needed better cleaning in some spots. one front desk lady made me uncomfortable. she was not professional and she was hollering to her friend outside the hotel who was smoking, while I was talking to her. lastly, the fridge does nothing. everything we had melted or was warm.

The location was highly rated on Bookings.com and it lived up to this rating. Rooms were decent, overall clean, and breakfast had a nice variety of options.

Not critical but it would be nice to check out without having to wait for front desk staff. A few hotel chains allow you to drop you key off and the hotel emails the receipt.

Overall this hotel is a TOTAL 360. Room couldn't have felt more comfortable. Staff friendly,attentive, helpful. Breakfast was to say the least one of the best. HUGE SHOUT TO TO HOUSEKEEPING YOU GUYS ARE MAKING A HUGE DIFFERENCE

Instead of milk in your containers maybe milk cartoons. Also definitely share with guests about your patio /grill section it's an awesome attraction to families we didn't use but definitely liked the idea.

The man at the check in desk was exceptional, he called us by name and that was a nice change. I think his name was Lee, what a nice fellow. The location was great-just off the interstate. Our room was clean and nice.

I wish the fan on the ac unit would run continuously instead of shutting off and back on. The breakfast wasn’t the best. I ended up with just toast. You had to ask for some of the choices at the desk and that guy seemed to be bothered when you did. Our internet wasn’t working the morning we left and the guy at the desk wasn’t helpful.

The price was great for one night stay. It was so clean! Great location for my 1st time in Wisconsin to visit my granddaughter. I would recommend comfort inn to my family and friends!

Would of been nice to have had a hot tub, my grandson has some disabilities , so hot tubs are a sensory thing for him. I like them for relaxing, but this wouldn't change my mind for staying again.

We didn't stay at the Comfort Inn Alaska to look out the window .. We wanted a nice room and comfy bed (very comfy) - and a place to shower. As for meals - we intended to go out to eat for supper and we did (Freight House - excellent) - and your breakfast was AWESOME ..

That we had to leave in the morning .. very nice facility ..

Good value, good for a one night stay on a road trip. Breakfast choices were a bit more than I was expecting, although pancake maker was broken.

Couldn't figure out the TV remote. Noisy shower operation. Dark decor ( bedspreads, curtains, carpets, furniture)

Clean, comfortable room with lots of space. From check-in to breakfast, the staff was present, helpful, and very friendly. Very comfortable beds and a really big bathroom exceeded our expectations at this price. The breakfast had lots of options, including eggs, sausage and gravy! Good food choices close to the hotel.
