Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott La Crosse Downtown

Conveniently located. Clean, easy to get to. Ample parking. Great room, good comfortable bed. Nice pillows, great bathroom. Friendly staff and an inviting look. We walked to dinner and you can walk to the river. Location is great. They were accommodating with us parking our motorcycle under cover. Always appreciate that!

Coffee is not great. Breakfast is breakfast. No view except city streets but it is what it is. Not a selection of water for sale and once in for the night we did not want to find a Kwik Trip.

Breakfast was good, considering Covid precautions. Staff was attentive and helpful. The bathroom was nice - especially liked the walk in shower! It was very close to where we wanted to go in the downtown area and very easy to find.

The TV had limited channels, and no guide to show what was on the channels at any given time. It was like a flashback to childhood how we had to select the channel to see what was on that channel. The people in the room above us made a lot of noise on the floor above our room into the late hours while we we trying to sleep. Not the hotels fault at all. In the future I will request a 3rd floor room.

I liked how clean the building was room, hallway and elevators very nice. Also everything was up to.

I did not like the shower , for a handicap unit very difficult for someone to stand in the shower Other than that very nice

I like that I can tell that the room I had had has cleaned linen.

The entry doors to the room have fingerprints all over the door. The door to the bathroom has streaks marks, also the shower door has stain probably from the shower. The curtains doesn't close all the waybso the room can be dark.

Everything was adequate. Fair price for accommodation. The office manager was helpful with directions to our dinner reservations and a spot for after-meal cocktails.

I have no complaints.

We asked for housekeeping to come in and clean, they dropped off toilet paper and towels and never even came in the room

Called ahead for a early check in and the person that answered said they couldnt find my booking. He was talking over me and his tone was not great for customer service. He also never apologized that he couldnt find it. Blamed it on the third party that booked our stay. Wasn't very welcoming.

Location downtown convenient for walking to bars or restaurants for dinner.

Because of the location right next to the bridge it was a little noisy in the morning.

Everything was very good. One staff member Sam was awesome, he was very helpful, kind and very personable. He definitely is a great employee and the hotel is lucky to have him.

It would be nice for the hotel to put a little bench in the front just for a place to sit outside and talk when the weather is gorgeous.

I have not idea why the elevator needs to make a sound every time it opens -- especially if your room is close to the elevators as people begin to depart early in the morning... woke us up and was annoying...
