Wingate by Wyndham Wisconsin Dells Waterpark

This is the 2nd time we came back to this hotel (back in July 2021) and it was what we remembered; great pools to choose from, great breakfast included and modern, updated rooms! They are always cleaning and tidying up the pool areas or cleaning around the hotel. I love the convenience factor of where this hotel is located. I definitely would come back to the hotel, but would book directly with the hotel (they price match the travel sites) so I can get my wyndham points. Staff very friendly and helpful!

Disappointed to learn that we didn't get free Noah's ark passes as advertised on booking.com's web site. It is very misleading. There is a small * on the ad that says 'contact the hotel to confirm how many free passes you get' in super small print. I learned from the hotel that if I would have booked directly through them, we would have had free Noah's ark tickets for all vs. just 1 ticket, and I would have received my wyndham points (also did not get because I booked on a 3rd party travel site). Also, the carpet in our room was stained, but other than those 2 minor things, our stay was great. The prices like all things seemed to have gone up. My only recommendation would be to add a safe to the room and clarify the confusing free waterpark passes ad.

The front desk lady didn’t tell us about early check in - we got there at 1030- check in was 3 When my son asked her is there an early check in then she finally said 12 for $50 but you can’t stay waiting in lobby with dog - it was about 80 degrees outside So I let my husband/son and grandkids go to Noah’s ark park and go on water rides to cool off and I sat on th sidewalk for an hour and half because the lady wouldn’t let me in lobby because of my dog didn’t even get me a chair - dog is old doesn’t even bark She knew I was outside but never told me room was ready- I walked in at 1215 and asked if room was ready and she said of yeah here is your room cards- so rude

Good view to see firework. Great swimming pool indoor and out door for my 6 yr old. Commute close to Noah ark water park. Book through their website they will give all wristbands to Noah ark unless you and your family do not plan to go to Noah ark.

Nothing, just that the Website says free Noah arc wristbands for all guest if book at their hotel, but it doesn’t say anything about third party booking. So make sure to book through their website to get all wrist bands for all guest that are staying. Otherwise you only get 1 wristband.

Check-in was smooth and quick, everything was clean. Breakfast was pretty tasty, and all of our needs were met. Staff were friendly and did a great job! It was a great area surrounded by many other businesses and attractions. The pool area was excellent, offering my family a variety of things to do, and we ended up spending hours in there! Safe for little ones, but still big enough for big kids to have fun. And the whirlpool was nice for everyone to unwind. We were able to get parking right next to our building. And a huge plus was that we were able to bring our dogs along so we wouldn't have to leave them behind. All around, this place was great and we are already planning our next trip back!

The booklet of coupons we recieved during check in, were expired, it wasn't too bad though, because we didn't spend enough time to use any, but it was something we noticed and weren't sure if businesses would accept expired coupons. Everything else was great with the only other complaint being that the pool signs read no food or drinks "in the pool" so when we brought snacks for the little ones to eat in the "pool area" at a table that was provided nearby, we were told no food was allowed at all. Other pool rules were specific to using words like "pool deck" "pool area" and "in the pool", so maybe just clearer wording on that. Or other signs saying no food allowed. Our stay was great and we really had a great time, that was just one instance that we had.

The breakfast was wonderful! Lots of options for everyone. Dining area was constantly kept clean and staff was always available to assist if needed. The facilities were always being maintained so at no point were common areas dirty.

The only issue was the guests in the room next to us. They would get back to the room late at night (10-11) and had no consideration for the rooms around them. The children. were loud and screaming. The parents were loud and screaming. When the front desk called to ask them to abide by quiet hours, they became aggressively loud on purpose. My tip: ask for a room that does not have a connecting door, it allows for a lot of noise to pass between rooms.

The pool area is perfect for kids. We had 7, 5 and 2 and they all loved the pool area. There was enough space for everyone and it seemed well maintained. Lexi was also super accommodating when we called to try and get our group together, as we had 4 rooms. Would definitely stay again!

Only negative was that I thought breakfast variety could have been nice. Both days the main source of protein was scrambled eggs and sausage. Not a huge deal still, but everything else was great!

The hot tub and fireplace in the room were nice, check in and check out were easy, and they had a variety of breakfast items. Good price as well. It was pretty clean.

I was charged a few dollars more after staying than what was printed on my booking.com receipt. I messaged them asking why but haven't heard back yet. I can only guess that the two water bottles in the room were $1-2 each, extra. Some of the fixtures inside the hot tub were a bit worn, and the hot tub itself wouldn't drain, though those weren't issues for using it.

Pool area was wonderful for young kids. Room was a nice size. The young lady at check in, reception desk that worked Friday June 10, 2022 at 3 pm and again on Sunday June 12 in the morning was wonderful(forgot her name) i think Lexi. She was knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming and did a great job-keep her! Good variety of food choices for breakfast. Nice outdoor pool. Housekeeping very polite and accommodating.

Only one bad experience the three days we were there. Saturday afternoon a gentleman(balding)I think named Tom was working. I walked by with family and headed to the parking lot. Close to the front door in the lot, I found a wallet with credit cards, drivers license etc and went back to turn it in. No one came out for awhile so I called out “hello” waited and called out another 2 times. Finally Tom came out and in a demeaning tone said “do you see this-pointed to the red phone-use it. Did not appreciate being talked to like that and if I saw it I would have used it. BAD customer service. Never saw the phone.

Location was great, we were attending a convention at Kalahari, so it was much cheaper and still very close.

I didn’t like that the kids pool was closed for cleaning on the weekend. Had we known they were going to close we would have used it the night before. Our room key also stopped working, which was a quick fix but a lot of running around. Vending machines on our floor would have been a nice addition. Ledge of the bed frame that surround the mattress were dirty.

Very clean, and very friendly staff! Anything we needed; they were on it! The rooms are spacious. The parking and access to rooms (from parking) is very convenient. Breakfast had EVERYTHING our kids hoped for! I will definitely stay here for every event we have in the city!

I had to tell the front desk, by 9p.m., the day prior, we wanted room [cleaning] service. (I missed it in the welcome packet-I wish I had been told, when I checked in).
