Holiday Inn Express Wisconsin Dells, an IHG Hotel

The staff was excellent, the location was good and it was very nicely decorated. We were a little late getting to breakfast on time, and the staff told us to go ahead & eat. Holiday Inn Express's are one of my favorite places to stay.

When we got there, our room was ready, but when we looked at it, it didn't appear to have been vacuumed as there were bits of paper etc. on the carpet. All the rest was very clean. I found some of the cleaning staff and they thought it had been vacuumed but they were more than happy to do it again which they did. The other thing is the room is handicapped accessible and the shower is one where you can push a wheel into it. I am not in a wheelchair but do use a cane. There was a bench to sit on, but there wasn't a mat to stand on in the shower. The tile was pretty slick after it got wet. My husband almost slipped, so I put a towel down before I showered, which helped a lot! I think they would have had a mat to prevent this. Otherwise, I would have given it a higher score.

The beds are comfy. They offer baby crib even if the booking says they don’t… My baby slept very good at it. All pools( in and out) were clean and worm. My boys had a lot of fun

The only thing that we wasn’t happy with was that 2 days in a raw we ordered cleaning and fresh towels for the room before noon( with explanation that we are with a baby and he gets his nap after 1pm) And both of the days no one came until we were going and chasing the housekeepers for towel or vacuming

Staffs are professional. Very respectful regardless of race. Always smiles and greet customers. Everything looks clean. However, the sheets smell like old people? It's not us for sure because we did take a shower before going to bed😅 I hope sheets are changed in each and every rooms after each customers/guests. Food are not appetizing as it looks but it's okay, can fill up tummies anyway. Overall, I rate 8-9/10.. for the staff 10/10.

Good location. Room was cool and clean. Decent breakfast, the pancake machine is a nice touch, I like it more than the waffle makers most hotel have. Nice pool and hot tub.

The chair in the disability access tub wasn't very sturdy and tips forward and slides around. The pictures online showed omlets and bacon which I was looking forward to but instead they had watery scrambled eggs and no bacon.

Breakfast was good. Pool was good size, clean and provided towels.

Breakfast hours were only until 9:30 would of liked it til at least 10. Pool should be open later for adults. The bathroom was a little too small. The refrigerator was right by the door and if someone was getting something out of it and you opened the door they would get hit. The tv was too small and was in a bad spot for one of the beds.

The staff was Great from the time we checked in to the time we checked out, breakfast was great, the bed was awesome, and we loved the indoor pool with the slide, also the outlet mall was across the street so that was a plus and it's not to far from the attractions downtown

It was hair in the tub drain and on the sink, I didn't like the fact that the bathroom sink is out in the room with the beds and not inside the bathroom, when new ppl arrived it was kids running up and down the hallways on the 1st floor and 2nd floor. I don't think I would of stayed another night if I had to hear all that so good thing we checked out that following day

The breakfast was awesome. Great and super clean building. I truly believe that Holiday Inn has best bed sheets and comforters. It fill like a cloud, so soft, clean and beautiful. At the top of everything, the outdoor swimming pool was just perfect along with another 2 pools inside and the hot tub. After we checked out, we were able to go back to the pool as long as we wanted for that day. Great hotel, don't look any further, just book the room and enjoy your time.

My room was located at the first floor that fills like a basement.

However, I did come back because the pool water is always bath tub warm, this time however it was not. I was disappointed. But assume in this economy that we are all just trying to pinch our penny's. Who cam blame buisness owners. However I am now open to other hotels and holiday inn is not my go to.

The room was spacious and well lit. The bed was very comfortable. The keurig in the room was an added bonus! The continental breakfast was delicious and offered some healthier options which was greatly appreciated. We also enjoyed the large pool area with the hot tub.

The only negative I have was that you could hear everything that was going on in the hall. There were some boys basketball teams staying at the hotel and the boys were running up and down the hall for most of the evening. You could very clearly hear any conversations happening in the hall also. Fortunately most of it subsided at a fairly reasonable time so we were still able to get a good night's sleep. Even with the noise, we would definitely stay in this hotel again.
